Introducing our newest addition to the team.
Over to Harriet, in her own words.....
“I graduated from the University of Birmingham Medical School in 2015 and then spent 2 years as a foundation doctor in Sheffield working in different specialities including gastroenterology, oncology and palliative care.
I completed my GP training in Bucks (where I was born and went to school) and then spent 3 years in Tring, Hertfordshire as a salaried GP. In 2022 I moved to live in Milton Keynes prompting a change of GP practice to Ampthill where I continue to work as a salaried GP.
My passion is practising high quality patient-centred care in a team where I can continue to develop as a clinician. My interests include mental health and women’s health.
Outside of work I’m an avid reader and cook. I love the theatre and travelling and enjoy spending time with family and friends.
I am excited to be joining the MK18 team and looking forward to having the opportunity to devote more time to my patients.”
Dr Kev had this to say.........
"Having met Harriet several times I am so excited. Being honest, bringing a new clinician on board within a small (but growing) practice is always a nervous time and a risk - but I can reassure all our patients that I have absolutely no doubt that Harriet is the perfect addition! I knew this within minutes of chatting with her and I am so glad that she reached out to us.
Friendly, knowledgeable and showing passion for the engaging, personal and approachable healthcare we are renowned for, I am thrilled to have her on board! Please join me in welcoming Harriet to the team."
Booking is open now. Alongside Dr Clare Turner, Harriet will also be providing some cover during Dr Kev’s annual leave next week. She will be working across both our sites in due course. Head to https://tinyurl.com/3vp7hy6k to book.
