In Chinese Medicine the Winter months are seen as a time of stillness and quiet. All the energies of nature are resting waiting for the warmth and sun of Spring.
The human body resonates to these same energies, but we make this time of year the busiest and noisiests with parties and overindulgence. Is it any wonder then that chronic conditions worsen and general ill health abounds.
Acupuncture can help maintain the balance of these energies and with the addition of some mindfulness and meditation techniques the Christmas season doesn’t have to be one of ill health.
Check out my website to see what treatments I can offer to get you through to Spring.

This time of year everyone is getting out and about and indulging in more sports and activities. If you injure or pull something when participating, why not try acupuncture. The World Health Organisation recommends acupuncture for over 100 conditions including, sprains, low back pain, neck pain, knee pain and sciatica. To help a little more in June and July I’m giving 10% off all first time treatments.
Visit my website for more information and where you’ll find a contact page.

Facial rejuvenation acupuncture is another aspect of the treatments I offer. It can help brighten and lift the face, and is described as Botox without the botox, and it also gives a sense of calm and wellbeing.
Further information can be found on my website.

Not all acupuncture is the same. This infografic shows the amount of hours spent studying acupuncture by various organisations.
BMAS- British Medical Acupuncture Society i.e. Doctors
BAWMA- British Association of Western Medical Acupuncture i.e. Drs, Osteopaths, Chiropractors etc
AACP- Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists
ATCM- Association of Traditional Chineses Medicine and Acupuncturists
BAcC- British Acupuncture Council.

Only these last two associations train practitioners in the type of acupuncture that is found in the classic texts from China. The other three use a form of needling called dry needling and trigger point acupuncture.
I am a member of the BAcC and have not only obtained my acupuncture degree here but also spent time in China learning from the top professors of Acupuncture. If you’d like to experience the difference of this form of acupuncture you can message or call me, details on this page or from my website

As we come into Spring, the transition of the seasons are seen in Chinese Medicine, as a period of possible energetic stagnation, leading to an aggravation of old symptoms or a development of new issues. Having a course of acupuncture at this time can help the transfer through this seasonal transition without the debilitating effect of this energetic shift.

I do Ba Zi ( birth charts) for all my patients as it helps me focus on areas of weakness that might need some added help when treating the patient with whatever brought them to acupuncture.
