We are seeking an experienced Tamil-English speaking female live-in carer to support a gentleman with:

• Advanced Heart Failure with LVAD
• Post-stroke left-sided weakness & cortical blindness
• Diabetes & hypertension

This is a clinically complex but stable long-term package requiring:

✔ 24-hour LVAD oversight (monitoring flow, alarms & battery management)
✔ Full support with personal care & mobility
✔ INR & diabetic monitoring
✔ Pressure care & falls prevention
✔ Feeding support & fluid prompting

He has full capacity, is compliant with care, and is motivated to return home to his wife and children.

🗓️ MONDAY - FRIDAY Only, Live-In (2-hour daily break)
💷 £750 per week

🗓 Shift patterns: 2:1 day shifts 12.5 hrs, 3x 9hr waking nights per week

• Care Certificate or Level 2+ in Health & Social Care
• A compassionate, professional child-centred approach to care
• Confidence supporting children with generalised hypotonia, including safe positioning and mobility support
• Knowledge of neurological conditions and developmental differences
• Experience with orthopaedic care, including post-operative support and managing hip braces
• Experience with paediatric bowel care, including constipation management
• Comfortable working alongside families and multidisciplinary teams (MDTs)
