One for all the art lovers out there! MK Gallery and The Lightbox have teamed up with learners at MK SNAP (Special Needs Advancement Project) to create an exciting, inclusive exhibition based on their sensory responses to Andy Warhol’s work.

This wonderful and innovative exhibition aims to encompass the senses, widen accessibility and deepen the experience for all visitors.

It will be running 19th July - 2nd November 2025 🖼️

In today's fast-paced world, which is filled with responsibilities, commitments, and never-ending to-do lists, it's easy to let self-care fall by the wayside.

However, self-care is extremely important for everyone's mental health and well-being, especially for those who regularly care for others. It doesn't have to look like a spa day or an expensive shopping trip; it can be as simple as taking five minutes to sit in peace and enjoy a cup of tea.

Here are some free and easy ways to practice self-care:

- Take a bath or shower with fragrant products.
- Spend ten minutes outside or go for a walk in nature.
- Ensure you get a good night's sleep.
- Engage in some form of physical exercise or activity.
- Try deep breathing or meditation.
- Journal your thoughts.
- Take time to engage in a hobby.
- Read or listen to a book.

On this self-care day, we encourage you to set aside some time for yourself! Remember, you can't pour from an empty cup ☕🩷

You may remember earlier in the year, we shared the story of two small knitted hearts that gave Charlie unexpected comfort when her partner Jason spent the end of his life at the Hospice just before Christmas 2024.

Our nurses tell us that they are running very low on knitted hearts for patients and families and are looking for volunteers to help.

If you’d like to knit or crochet some hearts and donate them for a patient, you can use the knitting pattern below and hand your hearts in at Hospice main reception.

Today marks the sixth anniversary of Hussein, our beloved Director and Founder’s passing. Six years later, he is still deeply missed, and not a day goes by without our remembering him. His journey may have been short, but he left us with many memories of laughter, kindness, compassion, and generosity. We will always miss him and remember him fondly.

Hussein put a lot of thought into the company name, aiming to create a care service that anyone could trust for themselves and their loved ones. Over the past six years, we hope we have made Hussein proud by growing Intrust Care in a manner that aligns with his vision, ethics, and passion 🩷
