September is , and the topic for this year is bladder leakage.

Do you experience bladder leakage? Do you know the cause?

People experience it for a variety of reasons, and knowing the cause can help to manage the condition. Some of the most common causes include:

🟣Weak pelvic floor muscles - from pregnancy, childbirth, surgery, or ageing
🟠Bladder infections (UTIs) - can cause sudden urges and accidents
🟣 Constipation - a full bowel can press on the bladder
🟠 Overactive bladder muscles - sending signals too early
🟣 Nerve problems - conditions like diabetes, Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Parkinson’s or spinal injury can affect how the bladder works
🟠Poor bladder emptying leading to an overflow leak
🟣 Pressure on the bladder - from pregnancy or carrying
extra weight
🟠 Certain medicines - like diuretics (water tablets) that increase urine production
