Welcome!! I'm Sally and I facilitate sessions here along with our 2 partnering horses Joey and Poppy. I'm a qualified Equine Facilitated Human Development therapist and have many years of lived experience dealing with and overcoming serious mental health disorders. Many things have helped me on my long journey and one of those is horses. Horses have an incredible ability to see you, really see you and allow space for your guard to drop and you just be. There no judgement when it comes to horses, they take you as you are in the given moment. Living in those present moments, horses are brilliant at helping us learn emotional regulation, navigating relationships and boundaries and guiding us in our next steps. When traditional talk therapy doesn't quite fulfil need, equine facilitated human development can give a new, fresh perspective, one of boldness, grace and empowerment.
