✨ Seasonal Yoga Classes – Returning This Wednesday ✨

Our seasonal yoga classes are starting back this Wednesday, 7th January, at Bagnall Village Hall, 7.15pm–8.30pm.

This is a warm, grounding and inclusive class, open to all abilities. Whether you’re returning to your mat or stepping on for the first time, you’ll be very welcome.

As we begin the year, we’ll be greeting the winter season — a time of rest, reflection and deep nourishment. Our practice will gently support the winter meridians: the Kidney and Bladder, helping to restore energy, soothe the nervous system and build resilience from within.

✨ Gentle seasonal movement
✨ Acupressure points to support Kidney & Bladder energy
✨ A deeply nourishing winter meditation
✨ Space to slow down, breathe and reconnect

Winter invites us not to push, but to listen — to move wisely, conserve our energy, and honour where we are.

If you’re craving steadiness, warmth and a sense of coming home to yourself, this class is for you.

💙I’ve rested.
💙 I’ve retreated.
💙 I’ve completely stopped.
💙 I listened to my body and soul.

I’ve read, crocheted, meditated, had listening and staring time and practised yoga…
slowly, slowly, slowly.

This winter pause asked me to create space — to truly slow down, to be still, to listen. Winter doesn’t rush, and neither did I. There’s been something deeply nourishing about allowing the quiet to do its work 💙

🙏🏼 And now… I’m ready and truly looking forward to returning to teaching yoga and bringing my own peace and knowledge to the class. 🙏🏼

Classes begin Wednesday 7th January, 7.15pm–8.30pm, Bagnall Village Hall— all levels welcome. A gentle coming back, just as we are.

💎💎Then on Saturday 25th January, we will lean fully into the grounding yin energy of winter — encouraging stillness, rebalancing our nervous systems, creating steadiness and building a strong, calm foundation for the year ahead.💎💎

Winter still holds us, even as we begin again. ❄️✨

Come and join me, I have weekly yoga classes, beautiful day retreats set in Rudyard Lake and the one in January a beautiful collaboration with Homestead Herbal.

Let’s celebrate together coming home to ourselves 🙏🏼

💎💎💎As winter settles in and a new year quietly begins, there’s an invitation to move more slowly and listen more deeply. 💎💎💎

To meet these colder months with grace and humility, honouring our energy rather than pushing against it.
❄️❄️
Winter asks us to move gently through the deeper layers — with love towards ourselves and gratitude held softly in the heart.
❄️❄️
Nothing to rush, nothing to fix. Just being, and allowing what needs to unfold. 🙏🏼

🙏🏼Wishing you all peace, healing and love for 2026. I would like to thank all that read my posts, come to classes, workshops and retreats. It really does mean the world to me to be able to share my passion for yoga with you. 🙏🏼

Christmas week offers a gentle invitation to slow down and honour our boundaries. In nature, winter is a time of stillness and rest — nothing is pushing or forcing, everything is conserving energy and trusting the cycle.

This season can feel different for each of us. It may bring warmth and peace, or it may stir memories and emotions that feel harder to hold. Nature reminds us that rest is not giving up — it is wisdom. Like seeds resting beneath the soil, stillness is part of growth too. 🤍

Beautifully put and I too resonate with this. Our physicality, our hearts and our minds will tell you what environment serves you well, that enables you, empowers you to firstly serve yourself, and then, with full presence serve the people around you. 🙏🏼🙏🏼. Be still, listen with an open heart and lead with love, always find space for love. 🧡🧡

Thank you to everyone who came along to this afternoon’s Restorative Yoga and Yoga Nidra session. 🌿✨🧡
Your energy, your presence, and the quiet intention you brought into the space made it such a nourishing practice.

We explored Brahmacharya — the art of conserving and honouring our energy — and it felt especially meaningful as we move toward the busy Christmas season. This is the perfect time to gently rebalance ourselves, to soften the pace, and to remember that we’re allowed to keep some of our energy for us.

May the rest you cultivated today ripple through the coming weeks, offering calm, clarity and a little more spaciousness in your days.
Thank you for being part of such a beautiful afternoon. 💛🌙

🧡🧡🧡 The theme for our yoga class yesterday was Trust. A beautiful energy in the room and an invitation to listen to the body, lean in to its whispers and stay present with each movement.

The photo is the walk I did with my dog Waffles, staying present, sharing a beautiful space and letting the autumn sunshine energise me for the day. Perfect 🧡

This season invites us to soften our grip, breathe a little deeper, and allow life to unfold in its own time. Not pushing. Not resisting. Just being.

🍁 Let the season hold you. Trust what’s shifting. Trust what’s staying. And trust that what leaves was never meant to stay forever.🍁

🍂 Shedding Our Autumn Layers 🍂

As the trees let go of their leaves, we’re reminded to soften our own grip — on old stories, habits, and ways of being that no longer serve.

Letting go doesn’t have to be dramatic.
It can be a quiet exhale… a tender trust in what’s unfolding.

We might gently ask ourselves, “What’s ready to fall away?”
And as we shed, we uncover the stillness beneath — the steady heart that was here all along.

May this season remind us: release is not loss, but preparation for renewal. 🍁

Join me each Wednesday at Bagnall Village Hall, 7.15pm — £7 per class, all levels warmly welcome.
Come move, breathe, and gently let go together. 🕊️

🍁 Shedding Our Layers 🍁

Autumn reminds us that letting go is a form of wisdom.
As the trees release their leaves, we too are invited to shed what no longer serves — the habits, stories, and defences that keep us from our truth.

As we enter into Autumn, it isn’t about becoming more — it’s about remembering who we are beneath the layers.

With each breath, we soften.
With each exhale, we release.
And in that quiet space, we find our way home. 🌿

⭐️Join me for autumn yoga at Bagnall Village Hall,
Tuesdays at 7.15pm, £7 per class every Wednesday 🙏🏽

All abilities warmly welcomed — come as you are, and let the season hold you. 🍂

🍁🍁🍁As we move towards Autumn, it teaches us this with every leaf that drifts to the earth. The trees don’t resist — they let go, trusting that in releasing, they make space for rest, renewal, and the promise of spring. 🍂🍂🍂

🍁🍁🍁So too with our own lives. When we feel ready deep within, the way forward unfolds with a quiet clarity. The path doesn’t need to be forced — it comes gently, in its own time, like the turning of the seasons.🍂🍂🍂

🍁🍁🍁May this autumn be a season of soft surrender, of trust in the unseen, and of opening to the path your soul has been waiting for. 🍂🍂🍂

Just a few places left for the magical retreat in Rudyard on the 12th October. A whole day of letting go, letting be and returning to self. 🙏🏼
