Longfield Hospice We aim to help you live well with life-limiting conditions. This year, Longfield Hospice needs to raise £4million.

Longfield Community Hospice provides Hospice at Home, Wellbeing Services, Counselling and Bereavement Support free of charge to adults in Gloucestershire impacted by a life-limiting condition. Longfield Hospice provides free care, 365 days a year for adults in Gloucestershire living with a life-limiting illness and support for their loved ones and carers. Each year the hospice helps over 1,200 patients, family members and carers.

90% of income is raised through the 20 charity shops and voluntary donations.

Huge thanks to our Cirencester Supporters who organised the highly successful craft fair at the Royal Agricultural University in Cirencester this weekend.

Everything from Christmas cards to candles were on offer from more than 30 stalls. And all proceeds from the stall bookings will go towards funding our vital services for families in Gloucestershire facing life-limiting conditions.

If you fancy a chance to buy homemade crafts and some early Christmas presents, cards and gifts, do pop along to the Boutflour Hall, Royal Agricultural University, Cirencester, this Saturday, 11th October. 10.00am - 4.00pm.

Browse 30 stalls featuring a selection of artisan crafts, unique gifts including wood-turned creations, sparkling jewellery, wire crafts, Christmas decorations, cards and much more.

All proceeds from the stall bookings will go to Longfield Community Hospice.

This free four-week programme supports bereaved adults to explore mindfulness and meditation as a pathway to healing.

In the community and in people’s homes across the UK, hospices look after people who need palliative and end of life care day in, day out.

They make 1.4 million community visits to help people at the end of their lives, delivering care closer to home, keeping people out of hospital who do not need to be there, and letting many people be in the place they love most: their own home.

But just when these services should be growing, they’re shrinking. With the right support, there is so much more they can do.
There is so much more Longfield Community Hospice can do – with your support.

That’s why, this , we’re celebrating all the things that hospices do to make people’s lives better to help raise awareness that these services should be properly funded.
