Happy to share the news that he has been reunited with his owner ☺️



This beautiful boy has been handed in as a stray this morning to our Minehead branch, he’s very friendly and wearing a blue collar but has no microchip.

Found in Roadwater, very keen to reunite with his owner who must be missing his cheerful personality! 🐱

Update 25/10/25

Thank you for all the phone calls of concern unfortunately we are saddened to say that little cat did not make the night, we are still searching for his family 😔

We have been handed a very poorly ginger cat. He was brought to us from the estate at the end of Seaward Way in Minehead.

Unless an owner comes forward very soon, we will make the most appropriate decision about his future. He has clearly not received the care he deserved or needed in recent times.

Appealing for any information regarding a dog attack on 5 ponies in a field yesterday morning in a field by Conygar Woods off the old A39 (Ellicombe part of Minehead). Suspected time was 5am - 7.30am, Wednesday 8th October.
It happened in the field to the left of the footpath that runs between the old college farm ( Apex centre) and the 20 acre car boot field.
The ponies received significant wounds to their faces, necks, legs and stomachs and all required vet treatment.

We have sadly taken a deceased male entire black and white cat from a concerned member of the public. He was found at the ellicombe end of seaward way. He was not microchipped, so possibly a stray.
If you have a possible connection with this cat, please contact the surgery by phone tomorrow.
