๐ข Important class update ๐ข ~ Please read.
From 7th February Kim will no longer be teaching for us. We wish her all the very best as she moves on to further develop her Aquafit business.
The following exciting class changes are therefore underway here at The Beach Wellness:
๐Tuesday evenings Mind Body Conditioning at 6pm - 6.45pm at The Beach Hotel with Kim, will be changing to brand new class 'Strong for Life' 5.30pm - 6.05pm at Minehead Community Building with Luisa. This fiery 35 minute express, high-intensity interval training (HIIT) session uses no additional complicated equipment, instead using your own body as resistance, building strength, balance, power and washing away any worries from your day. A great workout in particular for pre to post-menopausal midlife women looking to incorporate exercises to support longevity for bone and muscle health, as well as an essential boost for cardiovascular fitness, and to counter the many other challenges that midlife brings. If you haven't tried this kind of higher-intensity training before, this is a great time of life to start! Just bring your mat and water bottle (or mats are provided if you prefer). Starts Tuesday 10th February, onwards. Up to 20 spaces, comfortably.
๐ Tuesday evenings Fitness Pilates 7pm - 7.45pm at The Beach Hotel will be changing to brand new class: 'Let-Go & Flow' 6.15pm - 6.50pm at Minehead Community Building with Luisa. The ultimate de-stresser, this 35 minute express yoga class will be the perfect antidote to a day spent at your desk, driving or sitting. Get out of your head and into your body, improve mobility, focus, spinal flexibility and sleep quality by wringing-out your body. Breathe, move, flow, and learn lifelong skills to cope with everything life has to throw at you. Beginners welcome. Just bring your mat and water bottle (or mats are provided if you prefer). Starts Tuesday 10th February, onwards. Up to 20 spaces, comfortably.
๐ Wednesday Gentle Pilates 2pm - 2.45pm at The Beach Hotel with Kim - final class will be Wednesday 4th February.
๐ Thursday 'Women's Gym' 6pm - 6.45pm at The Beach Wellness gym - will continue, with Peter from Thursday 12th February onwards. Maximum 5 spaces.
๐ Friday 'Strength & Balance' 10am - 10.45am at The Beach Hotel - will continue, with Peter from Friday 13th February onwards. Up to 10 spaces, comfortably.
๐ Fitness Pilates 11am - 11.45am at The Beach Hotel with Kim - final class will be Friday 6th February.
**By moving to Minehead Community Building for our Tuesday evening classes we can now comfortably accommodate up to 20 participants at each class - giving you more room and scope to access fun, sociable exercise in a spacious venue.**
We are currently recruiting for new instructors, do get in touch if you know anyone who may be interested.
Our flexible unlimited class + unlimited gym at ยฃ39 monthly is cancellable at any time. If you feel you are no longer getting value from your membership and wish to cancel, please let us know at beachgym@sasp.co.uk. We are however incredibly grateful to those of you who feel able to remain loyal, and will continue to offer the best quality classes we can, with as much choice as we can manage, given the small charitable trust funded instructor team we have.
