💜Did you know… we’re one of only a handful of vet practices in the area with our very own dental x-ray machine? This is because we value top quality care for your pets, dental x-rays are considered best practice for any dentistry procedure, just like when your dentist takes your yearly x-rays💜

✅ So why are dental x-rays such a big deal? They allow us to see beneath the gum line and inside the tooth, where many painful problems start but can’t be spotted with the naked eye or even with a thorough dental exam.

✨ The difference a dental can make! 🦷
Check out these before and after photos — a sparkling smile really does make all the difference to your pet’s comfort and health✨

By finding these hidden issues early, we can treat them properly and send your pet home more comfortable, healthier and with fresher breath! 😁

⚠️Dental disease impacts your pet's overall health and studies suggest 70-80% of dogs and cats over 3 years old are affected ⚠️

🦷 It doesn’t just cause bad breath — it can lead to:
• Pain and abscesses
• Jaw fractures and tooth loss
• Bacteria entering the bloodstream and damaging vital organs (heart, liver, kidneys)

👉 Early detection and treatment are essential to keep your pet comfortable, healthy and safe from serious complications.

Blue-green algae can be toxic to dogs. ☢️

It may appear as scum or green paint on the surface of ponds or lakes, but even a small amount can cause dogs to become seriously ill. Keep them out of water that looks suspicious, and always check for warning signs when out on walks.
