It's not just new installations we do at Door System Installations Ltd, we also do onsite repairs. We carried out this upgrade on behalf of Shield Industrial
The door is on car show room and had been originally installed with the wrong bottom track and wheels. We removed the door supplied and fitted a new heavy duty floor track and wheels and then refitted the door.
All work was carried out in the day whilst the showroom was open.

Great installation today by team DSI!
We have surveyed, manufactured and installed thermally broken doors, screens and windows for a new classroom extension in Scunthorpe.
Working to a tight deadline are fitters stayed late onsite to get the job done.
We even did a little on site fabrication when the customer decided that they needed external access on one of the fire exit doors.

Another great installation today by team DSI, this time we surveyed, supplied, fitted and commissioned a new entrance for Myers Building supplies.

The building is an old mill (over 150 years old), the opening didn't have a single straight wall or level surface and ran out by 70mm from left to right, as a result we have added trims all the way around the opening (all scribed in for a tight fit).

We automated the doors with a Record sta-20 sliding door operator with RIC290 sensors and pocket screens, all fully commissioned to EN16005.

Another happy customer and another one chalked up for 2023 now on to the next install!

We recently removed the old doors and frames on 2 entrances at a school in Skipton, we changed the swing pair into a single slider with pocket screen and the manual single swing to an automatic swing door. Both door sets have been linked into the existing access control system and a time lock system for added security. The work was carried out during school hours with minimal disruption (this meant the installation could be done sooner and at less cost to the school). We completed all the work in 2 days and left the client very happy with their new set up.

Big team effort yesterday between DSI, adore maintenance and DUK doors to supply,fit and commission 2 new entrances in Chesterfield.
What started out as a straight forward job soon changed when we found out that site had not provided a solid fixing point above the doors (even though they had assured us that this had been done). Instead of leaving site and having to return at a later date (which would mean the client would not be able to open for Easter), we cut away the dot and dab plaster board and fitted a timber patras, we they worked late into the night to get both door sets finished and commissioned. This resulted in one happy customer and 4 very tired engineers!

Working on sites across the UK.
Requirements -
A clean driving licence
CSCS card preferred
Ability to work away where required
Team player
Wage will be dependent on experience

All ppe and uniform will be provided.
Standard working hours are 8am - 4.30pm, overtime will be available.

Not bad for 9 hours work!
Door system installations have surveyed supplied and fitted a new glazed aluminium entrance (3600 × 4600) to this new office unit complete with a Record Sta-20 single sliding door.
We also removed a steel door and supplied and fitted a glazed screen to add more light into the unit.
All completed within the day.

The ideal candidate will need to be well organised, good time keeping, have strong communication skills, have a positive attitude and work well in a team.

The role will include:

Fabrication of aluminium doors, windows and screens.

Communicating with and assisting the existing team of fabricators, office staff and engineers.

Proactively contribute to the company’s policy of continuous improvement.

Carry out any reasonable ad-hoc duties requested by your direct Line Manager or the Management Team.

Promoting teamwork and co-operation at all times.

On the job and in house training.

This role would be a great opportunity for someone looking to begin a career in the fabrication/automatic door industry with ongoing career progression.

Initial pay will be minimum wage, age appropriate.
