We had a wonderful time celebrating Easter here at Hopton Cottage! 💜

Our residents enjoyed a lovely day filled with laughter, sweet treats, and plenty of Easter fun, as we invited staff and children to enjoy the morning decorating Easter bonnets, an Easter egg hunt, party dances, finished off with some delicious home made buns🥚🐰

We had a visit from Northfields nursery yesterday, they asked to visit us as part of their Random Acts of Kindness week, the children came to deliver the residents flowers and little positive animals.

We had some left over so we delivered these to the staff on shift to spread the kindness.

I asked Irene what kindness meant to her and she said “to make people smile and help others”

We are delighted to be holding a special Easter raffle here at Hopton Cottage Care Home 💛

All monies raised will be going to support the children of our much loved and deeply missed colleague, Danielle. This raffle is a small way for us to come together, remember Danielle, and show our continued love and support for her family.

Today we marked Palm Sunday with a wonderful time of reflection, music, and togetherness here at Hopton Cottage.

A heartfelt thank you to Trinity Church for joining us and filling our home with such beautiful singing. Your visit brought so much joy to our residents and made the day truly special 💛

Keep your eyes peeled as you wander through town… our adorable knitted bunnies have hopped out of Hopton Cottage Care Home and are hiding in all sorts of places! 👀✨

Each bunny has been lovingly handmade by our wonderful knitting group and is extra special — nearly every single one is named after one of our amazing residents 💕

This project has been full of laughter, creativity, and community spirit, and we’re so proud to share it with you all.
