This one was rich, comforting and full of goodness: 🍄 Chicken thighs in a creamy mushroom and garlic sauce (yes, garlic again – it's basically my spirit vegetable)
🥦 Served with green beans, broccoli, and garden peas – because healing starts in the gut, and the gut loves its greens
It was warm, satisfying, and didn’t involve a single lettuce leaf.
So if you thought healthy eating meant cold chickpeas and a side of regret… think again.
This is real food. Food that heals, nourishes, and still makes you want to lick the plate (I didn’t... but only because the dog was watching).

🥘 Proper Cottage Pie – The Healing Way 🥔
Let’s set the record straight…
Just because I eat for healing doesn’t mean it’s all salads and seeds. Sometimes, what the body (and soul) needs is a big spoonful of comfort — and that’s exactly what this was.
💪 Cottage pie – Michelle-style:
Lean mince with red lentils and mixed veg hiding in plain sight
Topped with creamy mash made from potatoes and cannellini beans (yes, beans — don’t knock it ‘til you’ve mashed it!)
Baked until golden, bubbling, and trying to escape the dish
The result?
Protein, fibre, slow-release energy, and that “just-had-a-hug” feeling… without the crash or bloat.
Healing isn’t about eating light — it’s about eating right.
This was warming, nourishing, and full of the good stuff.
No rabbit food in sight — just proper food that helps my body do what it does best.

💥 Garlic & Rosemary Steak with Rainbow Salad 💥
Clients often ask how I keep my energy up while supporting others — truth is, healing starts on my own plate.
This week’s lunch hit the spot: 🥩 Garlic & rosemary steak — iron-rich, protein-packed, and so good I was tempted to cancel my afternoon and just nap with it.
🥗 A rainbow salad with crunchy chickpeas, quinoa, tomatoes, cucumber, peppers, beetroot and fresh greens. Every bite full of fibre, colour and flavour.
Food is fuel — but it’s also a message to your body: I’m looking after you.
And this one said it loud and clear.

🟦⚪🌼 Happy Yorkshire Day! 🌼⚪🟦
Today we’re flying the flag for God’s own country, a place full of beauty, bluntness, and brilliant people (even if we do moan about the weather!).
As a proud Yorkshire business, I see firsthand how many of us soldier on with pain, tension, and old injuries, often because we think it’s “nowt really” or “it’ll go on its own.”
But here’s a gentle reminder: you don’t have to grin and bear it.

💥 Motivational Monday........ First Goal Smashed! 💥
As some of you already know, I’m on a mission to improve my own health, and this morning, I broke through my first goal! 🎯
It might seem like a small step on paper, but trust me, it’s a big win in my world. This is about showing up for me, committing to the changes, and proving to myself that I can do this.
And because it’s Motivational Monday, I’m not stopping here.
I’m going to keep going , one goal at a time, one day at a time, because I’m worth the effort. No excuses, no beating myself up, just honest action and a whole lot of self-respect.
So here’s your Monday reminder: whatever your goal is, however far away it feels, just take one step. Then another. Before you know it, you’ll be looking back at the version of you who started, and giving them a well-deserved pat on the back.
