A bit about Athlete Elements & me ๐๐
๐ I'm Edwina, born and raised in Manchester ๐ฌ๐ง, Personal trainer, Professor of Capoeira ๐คธโโ๏ธ (it's not just a dance!), CrossFit L1 Coach, Triathlete, weightlifter, wine drinker, sun lover and all round fun-time haver!
I would say I've always been into sports since I was a child, but thinking about health and fitness was a slightly longer journey.
Everyone has their turning point(s) when it comes to deciding they want to be their best self... one of mine was realising I hated the way I looked in some family holiday photos.
The other was realising someone in my old office was a feeder and brought in cakes and chocolates every day, and I was always the first, maybe the 2nd person to the table ๐ฌ
But from all that, I found mindfulness, competitive fitness, my love for always pushing my boundaries and trying new things... and eventually my LOVE for sharing my knowledge of health and fitness and giving back.
I've been working within the health and fitness space for over 8 years. I have worked with so many different people in that time, and I've learnt so much.
Athlete Elements is the product of all my years as a health and fitness coach in all its many forms.
Here, I'm sharing with you all my knowledge of getting the best out of your body through gaining strength, staying flexible, building fitness, using food as fuel, building a super strong mind, recovery and more, all with a view to stay in the game for longer.
