12 April – 18 April is Foot Health Week

Feet are one of the hardest working parts of our body, but they are also one of the most neglected. During Foot Health Week, we want to remind people to get to know their feet and not ignore any foot pain they might experience. Walking through pain or ignoring problems can over time cause damage to the feet and lower limbs. So, if your feet hurt, or you notice anything unusual about them, visit a registered podiatrist, who can diagnose causes of pain and provide appropriate treatment.”

Following professional guidance I am now be able to start seeing those with mild conditions once we have seen our cancelled patients. This will only be where self care advice or a video consult is not possible. I will be in touch with our patients to rebook cancelled appointments as soon as possible. All patients will be triaged before a visit and extra Personal Protection safeguards are in place to protect you.

Just to let you all know with the Corona Virus the clinic is still open and home visits available. I am using masks with patented carbon vibration technology developed by the UK ministry of defence. These masks are designed to absorb and kill bacteria and viruses with the silver filters.

Any surface that may be touched by anyone in the clinic is cleaned down at least twice before the next person enters. (including patient chairs, door handles, card machines etc.)

I have not been abroad and been in known contact with anyone who has been to areas affected abroad. I hope we all stay safe in this uncertain time. I will keep you updated. If you have any queries or concerns do not hesitate to contact me on 01248 410 333.
