Signing off 2025 🫡
Wowza, what a ride that was!
It seems for a lot of us, it hasn't been a breeze.
It's been heavy, stressful and at some moments, absolutely crushing (it's giving: the weight of a ton of bricks and at times still breathing in tha rubble dust 😶🌫️)
And yaknow...some days even just surviving felt like a full-time job I didn't apply for.
And yet, here we all are, showing up 🫠
Still feeling, still fumbling our way through.
For me, as a counsellor and a human who definitely didn't have it all together, 2025 has been one hell of a learning curve.
Learning to sit with uncertainty.
Learning that self-compassion isn't optional when your resilience battery is empty.
If this year stripped things back for you...
If it forced you to meet parts of yourself you'd rather pretend weren't there....
If survival was the growth then I'd say that still absolutely counts.
As we head into 2026, here are a few reminders from a real life human who gets it.
So, here's to a new year...may it be slightly less sh*te and slightly more magical...and may we all survive it together 😌✨
