We meet at Mold Leisure Centre- Canolfan Hamdden Yr Wyddgrug most Wednesdays, 8pm, for social and training in the pool. The Golden Lion SAC is a very active and friendly club who enjoy weekly diving in various locations around North Wales and frequent trips to other parts of the UK and abroad. In the summer months we make good use of our fully equipped dive boat by visiting some of the beautiful reefs, wrecks and coves around Anglesey and North Wales. While in the winter those who still have the urge to dive visit inland sites or shore dives. Our BSAC Nationally Qualified Instructors teach practical skills and present lectures for all levels of Diver Qualification. Specialist courses, such as First Aid and Navigation, are also arranged regularly. We do not rush your training and pass you with only a couple of dives under your belt. We take time and care while working at a pace that suits you. Leaving you not only qualified but satisfied.

What a wonderful club holiday, so many things achieved. Landmark dives, dive leader grade, depth progression and our chairman even managed to do a litter pick. Thank you to everyone who made it so memorable, it was really nice to share the trip with a Flint SAC member, and also a lovely solo diver, who joined our group as a stranger and left us an honorary member of the club. We really love the sense of community in the diving world. A massive thank you to Atlantis Diving centre and especially our guides Patrick and Elliott, who went the extra mile to make sure we all got in and out of the water safely.
