Home-Start Flintshire & Dad Matters Flintshire will be at Datblygu Chwaraeon gwella - gwella Sports Development Fit Fed & Read event in Holywell (Fron Park CH8 7TQ) today, Thursday 24th July, 2pm-3.30pm.

There are still FREE places left at Dad Matters Flintshire Baby Group this coming Saturday at Deeside Leisure Centre - Canolfan Hamdden Glannau Dyfrdwy.

Bring your little one along to enjoy activity mats and baby toys, with a FREE bacon butty and hot drinks available for the dads!

This is a really relaxed group and offers dads a space to play and bond with their children, as well as meet other dad's.

Hello Dad's,

Great news! There is still time to book you and your Child's place at the Dad Matters Stay, Play & Chat FREE Ice-Skating Group this coming Saturday at Deeside Leisure Centre - Canolfan Hamdden Glannau Dyfrdwy 10:00 am-12:00 pm.

This group is aimed at 2–5-year-olds; however, if you have an older child, please email chrisashbrook@home-startflintshire.co.uk before booking a ticket!!

This session will include:

A 1-hour Parent Assisted Ice Skating session 10:00am-11:00am, Ice skates provided with Skating Aids available if required. Please be aware that all children must be accompanied by an adult.

Followed by time to chat in the Aura suite from 11:00-12:00pm, with a FREE bacon butty and hot drinks on offer for the dads and fruit, crisps and breadsticks for the children!

This group is designed to be really relaxed and offer dads the space to play and bond with their children, as well as meet other dad's.

Great news, there is still time to book you and your Child's place at the Dad Matters Stay, Play & Chat FREE Football Group run by Gwella Football coaching this coming Saturday at Deeside Leisure Centre 9.15am-11.00am.

This group is aimed at 2-5 year old's, however, if you have an older child, please email chrisashbrook@home-startflintshire.co.uk before booking a ticket!!

This session will include:

A 45 minute Parent Assisted Football session 9:15am-10:00am, Its outside on the 3G pitches, footwear just needs to be suitable and comfortable. Ideally, football type trainers, but any are fine. Please be aware that all children must be accompanied by an adult.
Followed by time to chat in the Aura suite from 10:00-11:00 am, with a FREE bacon butty and hot drinks on offer for the dads and fruit, crisps and breadsticks for the children!!!!

8 years since Home-Start HOST and Tameside and Glossop early attachment service collaborated to create this amazing service to support babies and their dads.

Our good friends at Andys Man Club Deeside are playing HGC Gogledd Sir Fflint / NWP North Flintshire in a charity football game to raise funds for Theos Fight please pop a donation down for a great cause or come on down to watch the game this Sunday 1pm at Airbus.

We’re raising money for 3-year-old Theo Parry from Flint, who lives with a rare neurological condition, Sturge Weber Syndrome (SWS). Theo faces daily challenges including epilepsy, glaucoma, developmental delays, and more. After unexpected complications from major surgery last year, Theo also suffered a significant global brain injury.

Funds raised will go towards specialist equipment and vital home adaptations to support Theo’s needs.

Wrexham Police FC founder Dave Smith says:
“We’re incredibly grateful for all the donations so far. We’re some way off our £20,000 target for Theo, but we’re just £315 away from hitting £5,000, a huge milestone. Every donation, big or small, will truly make a difference.”
