🏁 A fantastic day at the Nightingale House Hospice 5K & 10K Run! 🏃♀️
On Saturday 5th April, the P&A Group was proud to sponsor and support this incredible community event held at Alyn Waters Country Park—a scenic, multi-terrain course that brought runners of all abilities together to raise funds for a truly worthy cause.
As part of our 40th anniversary celebrations, we were honoured to sponsor the event’s trophies with a £1,000 donation, reaffirming our ongoing commitment to giving back to the communities we serve.
Steve Morgan, Chairman of The P&A Group, which includes Zest Outdoor Living, P&A Pallets, and The Woodworks Garden Centre & Café in Mold, was there to help celebrate this special occasion.
A special highlight was seeing Steve join Alison Peters from GHP Legal to present 12 trophies to the deserving winners. The energy, positivity, and community spirit on the day were infectious—helped along by the appearance of the brand new Nightingale House mascot who kept smiles going all morning!
Nightingale House Hospice provides free, specialist palliative care services to individuals with life-limiting illnesses, while supporting their families with compassion across a wide catchment area. We’re proud to continue supporting this incredible organisation, following our past partnership sponsoring a tile on their 25th Anniversary Hot Air Balloon.
