MTS Psychotherapy

MTS Psychotherapy Passionate about your emotional wellbeing & mental health; helping you move forward with your life.

Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy may be a way forward to offer support and help in getting your life back on track. My aim is that each psychotherapy session will be quality time for you to talk through your problems in a non-judgemental, safe and confidential setting that will be uniquely tailored to you. Psychodynamic and Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy aim to contribute significantly to our general se

nse of well being and our ability to manage our lives more effectively, and thereby positively influencing our mental and physical health. I have over 25 years experience working in NHS and private mental health services. I have successfully supported male and female clients on an individual or group basis whilst working in hospital and community settings. My specialist experience is in recurrent Anxiety, Depression, Relationship Problems and Self Esteem, often linked to past and recent trauma. I abide by the Code of Ethics of the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and the Hallam Institute of Psychotherapy. My practice is sensitive to culture, diversity and difference. Please contact me for a confidential telephone consultation for further information.

Reaching out can feel like a significant step, but it often opens the door to understanding, relief, and meaningful change. Appointments are available in person or via video platforms, for those seeking a safe and supportive space to explore what they are going through. Rather than struggling in silence, consider getting in touch for more information at manuela@mtspsychotherapy.co.uk or by visiting the website www.mtspsychotherapy.co.ukto learn more about how support can be tailored to your needs.

Connecting with others is a steady, human way to support emotional wellbeing, offering a sense of belonging and perspective that is difficult to create in isolation. Meaningful conversations, shared experiences, or even small moments of kindness can encourage the release of oxytocin, a hormone linked to trust and connection, helping to ease stress and lift mood and ultimately resulting in strengthening your emotional resilience. Sunday evening offers a natural pause, a quiet threshold between rest and the rhythm of the week ahead. Taking time to prepare can ease that transition, not just by organising practical tasks but by tending to your own wellbeing. Gentle self-care practices such as planning priorities, setting realistic intentions, enjoying a nourishing meal, or unwinding with a calming routine can help steady your mind and bolster resilience for the week ahead.
