Coming for a treatment at Skin You Will Love isn't just about coming for a treatment. It's more than that.

It's about feeling comfortable, feeling safe, getting to know your practitioner, trusting someone with your face.

It's feeling relaxed and feeling able to ask questions and getting all your questions answered.

It's being able to chat freely about what's on your mind, having a laugh with a latte, it's catching up on everything that's happened since your last appointment, the good, the bad and the ugly parts of life.

We have lots of clients that come and say how they could chill there all day as they feel so relaxed, that is everything to us!

It's about trust, honesty and friendship.

What does a Monday look like for me?

Clients ask what I have going on in clinic. So here is what a Monday looks like.... Taking blood samples 9.30am - 5pm and seeing clients 5pm - 8pm.

I was at Uni on a Monday but I have recently qualified as a prescriber.

This has given me some time back on a Monday which I have allocated to blood testing for .

They have so many advanced blood tests available it is worth checking out and I would be happy to take the sample for you!

Checking out the charts and learning about trading in gold once and for all is something I have wanted to learn for a long time, which I am now committed to! I do this in between other jobs to do and follow signals I am sent to grow an income whilst learning about it.

Chuck in a few latte's and a post office run and that is my Monday done! I look forward to a Monday, for me it is the easiest day of the week!

Hey everybody!

Disclaimer! I am NOT slating any other practitioner when I share this.

You may remember I shared the pics of this client prior to an elective dissolve as the filler she had injected elsewhere had got nice and comfortable in the wet/dry border.

Once it gets in there it doesn't like to move any time soon! This actually needed 2 vials of Hyaluronidase to get all of this filler out! Client was patch tested and I refilled initially 2 weeks later.

A few months later and I have refilled again as I often see filler not lasting long initially after a dissolve.

When the filler is added in phases you can keep a neat vermillion border as the lips are not getting overfilled.

Due to the quite significant pockets of filler in the wet/dry border which the client could literally flick with her tongue, extra time was taken when refilling.

Hyaluronidase can act as an irritant to the skin and sometimes antibiotics can be needed if it irritates the skin too much and the areas become inflamed, the client was monitored for any sign of infection but none occurred and the pockets reduced significantly.

In the 2 augmentation's i have done on this client there has been no refilling of these pockets and the client can now smile without the worry of having these overfilled lip pockets on show.

A VULNERABLE POST!

My skin has always been a struggle for me and baffling for doctors with them summarising that my nerves fire off too many electrical impulses causing my skin to break during periods of stress.

This is not just limited to my face, it has been all over my body and I have had groups of doctors inspecting me whilst standing in front of them in just underwear so they could see what I was living with but could never find a solution.

This led to the birth of SYWL after I started learning as much as I could about skin and skin treatments which I continue to learn about.

Always looking for new research, evidence, and treatment protocols to support with various skin concerns.

It is easy for us all to hide behind filters and AI but it isn't real, if this reel points someone who is struggling with their skin in the right direction then it is worth the vulnerability!

I promise you after recent stress my skin would be much worse than it is right now and it is getting better day by day!
