Hilary Matthews née Owen (Maddocks) of Llys Y Ddol, Mold. Passed away peacefully at the Wrexham Maelor Hospital on Friday, 27th February 2026, aged 87 years.

Devoted mum of Peter and Janice. Loving nana of Richard, Katherine and Sarah. Treasured great-nana. She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.

Funeral service at St Mary's Parish Church, Mold on Wednesday, 25th March 2026 at 1:00pm followed by cremation at Flintshire Memorial Park. Family flowers only please but donations may be given in ​Hilary's memory to the Shooting Star Unit at Wrexham Maelor Hospital​.
