✳️FREE CPR / AED COURSES!!✳️

▪️Child & Baby Save a Life - Tuesday 16 September

▪️Adult Save a Life - Monday 29 September

Would you like to learn basic life saving skills, CPR and how to operate a defibrillator??

As a Community Outreach Instructor for RLSS UK, Lynn is running a FREE two-hour training session in basic life support for members of the public.
The session will be held in Carnoustie from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.

Being able to perform emergency life support, a set of actions needed to keep someone alive until professional help arrives, gives a casualty the best possible chance of survival.

When someone has a cardiac arrest, the clock starts ticking. Every minute that passes without CPR and defibrillation reduces the chances of survival by up to 10%.

Courses are free-of-charge and no medical knowledge is required in order to undertake one. It only takes two hours to learn the skills which may save a life and it is very likely that the person you help may be a family member or someone close to you.

The session covers:

• Caring for an unconscious person who is breathing

• Caring for an unconscious person who is not breathing and performing CPR

• Choking

• Drowning

• How to use a defibrillator

✳️MONIFIETH MEDICAL PRACTISE✳️
AFTERNOON CLOSURE:
WEDNESDAY 3 SEPTEMBER FROM 1PM.

Please be advised that the Monifieth Health Centre will be closed for Protected Learning Time on Wednesday afternoon on the 3 September.
There will be NO access to the practice
between 1PM - 6PM.
Regular services will resume on Thursday,the following day.

In case of emergencies, their on-call team will be available to assist you.
Services will be provided by Out of Hours (OOH) for cases of emergency.

If you require emergency assistance
between 1PM - 6PM that requires a GP please phone 01382 534301.
You will be required to provide information that will be shared with Out of Hours Services.

Please note that both Ashludie Pharmacy & Troup Pharmacy shall be open and our NHS Pharmacy First Services are always available too!
