Today we held our team meeting at our Monmouth office – but this one was a little bittersweet 💜

It was our Care Co-ordinator Brynie’s last staff meeting with us, as she will be leaving on Friday. Brynie has been such an important part of our team, always bringing positivity, dedication, and a smile to everything she does.

We’ll all miss her greatly but wish her the very best for the future. Thank you for everything, Brynie – you’ll always be part of the Monmouth family 💐✨

🎉🌟 Celebrating 1 Year with Dhara! 🌟🎉

Today we are celebrating Dhara’s one-year anniversary with Helping Hands Monmouth! 💙

During her appraisal, Dhara shared a little about her journey so far:

“I’ve improved in so many areas, my language has improved so much from being in this job, my confidence has grown so much, I used to be so quiet and shy but now I talk all the time.
If I hadn’t joined HH I think I would feel so alone, but meeting everyone makes me feel like part of a family and I am not alone. The best thing about HH is how supportive you all are, if we don’t know something we just call the office and you always help us.
I think we all have great teamwork, I love that we all support each other. The office also support us out of work too, like if I’m unwell, for example, the office are always kind and helpful. If I am working I never feel stressed, if I make a mistake or anything like that I’m not scared to say it because everyone is so understanding and helpful.”

At Helping Hands, we love celebrating the incredible people who make a real difference every day. Today, we’re proud to share Adyanna’s story - one of passion, purpose, and a genuine commitment to person-centered care.

“Growing up, care was always part of my world. My Nana was a carer for the council, and my mum has worked in care for over a decade. Watching their dedication left a lasting impression on me. I started working in care just before turning 17, alongside my mum while still in college, and I haven’t looked back since.”

Adyanna joined Helping Hands in March 2024 at just 19 years old and has been making an incredible impact ever since.

“What I enjoy most is getting to know each client’s routine and personal preferences. There’s something incredibly meaningful about being able to brighten someone’s day - even more so knowing that we might be the only friendly face they see. That motivates me to always deliver the highest standard of person-centered care.
