***DATE CHANGE***
A final place has opened for this weekend’s Shiatsu workshop in Trellech.

This will be a calm, hands-on afternoon exploring touch, presence, and simple ways to support the body — including a short Shiatsu routine and a few key acupressure points to take home.

We’ll also gently explore the Five Elements, offering a different way to understand energy and balance and how this can be supported with presence and touch.

The workshop is being held in a quiet, welcoming barn setting — a space that naturally invites you to slow down, rest, and reconnect.

- Small group.
- Gentle guidance throughout.
- Bespoke resources.
- £30 for 4 hours

Get in touch if you’d like the final spot or you can book the final space here:

Are you someone who gives a lot to others?

Supporting, listening, holding space — being the one people turn to can become a very familiar role. Over time, it can also mean that there is less space to notice what you might need yourself.

Receiving support is not always something that comes easily, especially when you are used to being the one who provides it.

Shiatsu offers a different experience.

It is a space where you do not need to take care of anyone else, or hold things together. Instead, you are supported — quietly and consistently — and given the opportunity to rest into that.

Even a short time in that position can begin to shift something.

I offer Shiatsu for people who give a lot and would value time and space to receive.

If this speaks to you, you’re very welcome to get in touch.

Feeling tight, tense, or restricted through your ribs or digestion?

Liver 13 is a key point for supporting the body’s ability to process — physically and emotionally. I often use this when there’s a sense of holding through the diaphragm, or when stress is affecting digestion.

📍 Located on the side of the body, at the end of the floating rib.
💆 Apply gentle pressure or rest your hand here while breathing into the space.

This point helps soften holding patterns and supports a sense of internal ease.

There is no rush in this work, and no particular outcome that needs to be reached.

In a world that often encourages us to move quickly, improve, and keep going, it can feel unfamiliar to enter a space where nothing is being asked of you.

Shiatsu offers that space.

Rather than working towards a goal, it invites you to notice what is already here. Sensations, patterns, areas of tension or ease — all of it is welcomed without needing to be changed.

Interestingly, it is often from this place that change begins to happen. When the body is no longer being pushed or directed, it can start to soften and reorganise in its own way.

Sometimes, that is enough.

I offer Shiatsu as a space for this kind of slowing down — where you can step out of the pressure to be different, and simply be as you are.

You’re warmly invited to reach out if this feels like something you need.

**NEW DATE ARRANGED **
I have a few final spaces available for my Grassroots Shiatsu Workshop SUNDAY 17th MAY in Trellech. This is a small, 4-hour workshop where we’ll slow things down, come back into the body, and explore touch in a simple, grounded way.

I’ll be guiding you through some gentle movement, energy awareness practices, and some easy Shiatsu techniques you can use at home with friends or family.

No experience is needed at all, just bring some curiosity with you.

It’s shaping up to be a really lovely, small group, with plenty of space to explore, rest, and learn together.
If you feel drawn, you’d be very welcome.

In Shiatsu, touch is used to listen rather than to fix.

There is no agenda to change what is happening, and no expectation that something needs to be different. Instead, the work follows what is already present in the body — areas of holding, areas of emptiness, and places that are quietly asking for attention.

This kind of listening creates a different experience. It allows you to be met without needing to explain, analyse, or make sense of what you are feeling.

Often, the body already knows where to begin.

When it is approached in this way, something can start to shift, not through effort, but through being recognised and supported.

I offer Shiatsu as a space where you can be met in this way — simply, and without expectation.

If this resonates, you’re very welcome to get in touch.

After stress or tension, your body also needs nourishment.

Liver 8 is a gentle, supportive point I often use after deeper releasing Shiatsu and this can help your body soften, restore, and rebuild. It’s especially helpful when you’re feeling depleted, stiff, or run down.

📍 Located at the inner knee crease when the knee is slightly bent.
💆 Apply gentle pressure or massage for 1 minute on each side.

A quiet, grounding point that supports deeper restoration and ease.

“What a fantastic experience! Very liberating and insightful.”

There’s a quiet kind of joy in feeling things loosen…
in rediscovering ease where there once felt effort.

A softening through the body,
a little more space to breathe,
a sense of lightness that lingers beyond the session.

This is often where the real work begins —
not in doing more, but in allowing something to shift.

If you’re feeling the call to experience this for yourself, you’re very welcome to get in touch.

Finding the light isn’t something we have to chase. Often, it’s already there — just filtered, softened, or a little out of reach.

Like sunlight through leaves, it finds its way in when there’s space.

Shiatsu works in much the same way.
Not forcing change, not pushing the body but listening, softening, allowing.

As tension eases and the breath deepens, something begins to shift.
Energy moves more freely.
The mind quietens.
The body remembers a different way of being.

And from there, the benefits ripple out

- better sleep
- steadier energy,
- a sense of calm that stays with you a little longer.

Sometimes, it’s not about doing more.
Just making space and letting the light in.

Do you find it difficult to switch off, even when things around you have slowed down?

For many people, the pace of life doesn’t simply stop when the day ends. The body can remain alert, the mind active, and the system still carrying the momentum of everything that has been asked of it.

Rest is not always something that can be chosen instantly.

Shiatsu offers a different rhythm. Rather than asking the body to suddenly relax, it creates the conditions for things to settle gradually. Through slow, steady contact, the nervous system begins to feel safe enough to soften in its own time.

There is no pressure to “let go” or to arrive in a particular state. Instead, there is space to come as you are, and to allow your system to shift from there.

I offer Shiatsu sessions for people who are looking for a quieter, more supported way to come back to themselves.

You’re warmly invited to reach out if this resonates. I offer free discovery calls if you’d like to explore further.
