Rosser's Chemist is the only independent chemist in Monmouth. Dan Rosser is the owner/pharmacist and his team consists of Liz, Bobby, Kay, Sandra, Naomi and Catherine plus his Saturday pharmacist Naila and delivery driver Marie. Rosser's provide a prescription collection service from Dixton and Chippenham surgery's and a delivery service. It's quick and easy to sign up to either or both of these s

ervices, just ask one of the team. Rosser's are the local agents stocking Vichy and La Roche Posay. They also are stockists for Roger & Gallet, Bronley, Yardley and Morny. Rosser's is an Aladdin's cave of products but if you are after an item not in stock it can often be ordered in for the next day, just ask one of the lovely ladies - or Dan.

Great news we have some lateral flow tests
available. We have 56 in stock on first come first served basis.

Can we please ask that anyone wanting them would kindly wait outside to reduce the chance of us potentially catching the virus.

I also have 5 flu jabs left too - these are only available to the under 65s due the type of vaccines we have left in stock.

Due to some cancellations we have a couple of interview slots today and tomorrow. This is for the 11.5 hour position of counter assistant in our pharmacy.
Saturday morning 9 - 1 and a full day in the week 9 - 5.30. Flexibility to cover holidays and sickness a bonus.

We have ordered our ration of flu vaccines for the upcoming season and are taking bookings for anyone over 50 or those entitled to a free NHS vaccination due to medical conditions.
At the moment we are taking bookings for Thursday 9th September and Friday 24th September.

We have a vacancy for a 4 hour Saturday position (9am - 1pm) with overtime available to cover holidays and sickness OR a Saturday morning plus a full day in the week (11.5 hours).
No experience in pharmacy necessary as training will be provided.

Here at Rosser's Chemist in Church Street we have own brand items now in stock. These Numark items are 'own' branded products for independent pharmacies, and we are the only independent pharmacy in Monmouth.

The prices are incredibly low in comparison to well known branded products and other multinational companies own brands.

This week we are highlighting our hay-fever and allergy range.

We have loratadine in boxes of 14 or 60 for £1.25 and £8.49 respectively. This is the generic drug in Clarytin which retails at £5.49 for 14.

We have cetirizine in packs of 14 (£1.25), 30 (£2.50) or 60 (£4.50).

We have hay-fever eye drops for £4.25 and allergy eye drops for £3.50.

A nasal spray 100 doses is £3.89 or 200 doses for £5.69.

And a strawberry sugar free antihistamine solution is just £3.25 for 150ml.

Rosser's chemist is the only pharmacy in Monmouth that is part of the NHS stop smoking service 'Help Me Quit'.

This is a free service for anyone living in Wales and wanting to give up smoking.
You will get information, advice, and support during your first few months you stop smoking. Depending on your consultation you can be given varenicline (Champix), or ni****ne replacement therapy such as patches or gum.

If you want to quit please pop in and see Dan anytime on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, or Saturday mornings until 1pm.

You can do this and we're here to help you!
