So here is some of the things we learnt with over 10 years of experience in professional sport.
Pro athletes are not super human….
When recovering from injuries, their bodies aren’t special so that they can heal quicker. What we created is the best environment for a body to heal, getting them moving quicker and in turn stronger to return in shorter times without cutting corners.
Consistency…
To achieve big comebacks from injury, consistency is key to developing strength and power to return better and stronger than before the injury.
Getting help…
If a pain developed, they sought out help straight away to get on top of it. This can help prevent an issues becoming a big one. We find the longer an issue is left, the longer the recovery.
The help…
They had access to a medical team to guide them through their injury on a daily basis. Having this input can mean you’re not guessing with your rehab and a proven plan can be put in place.
All these points drive successful rehab and recovery. You need to find help, been consistent with rehab and progressions and allow your body to heal.
