They discussed the North Lancs Sustainable Food Places Gold Award campaign and the possibility of increasing community growing spaces in the West End of Morecambe to address food insecurity. We are fast approaching the beginning of Advent - with 1st of December a week on Monday!

We will be starting to make up Christmas gift bags next week ready to give out to guests who visit us from 1st December until 23rd December when we close for the Christmas break.

We've been so grateful for the Christmas donations that have started to come in - please keep them coming! 💚

If you feel able to donate any of the items on the poster below, or even hold a collection in your neighbourhood, school, church, or workplace, this would be hugely appreciated.

Lancaster City Council has triggered its Severe Weather Emergency Protocol (SWEP) due to cold weather, which provides emergency accommodation for rough sleepers. You can help by reporting concerns about rough sleepers through the StreetLink website or app. If you are in immediate danger, call 999. For out-of-hours housing emergencies, call the council's Emergency Call Centre at 01524 67099; during working hours, call 01524 582257.

Come along to our Christmas Fundraising events 🎅🏻🎄

This year we are running two fantastic events

Saturday 29th November- Christmas Crafternoon - £25
Sunday 21st December- Children's PJ Party for children primary school age & under- £15 per child (£10 for extra siblings)

Both events are taking place at Morecambe Cricket Club and booking is essential. This can be done via propupproject@gmail.com or 07568937988 or our FB pages.

Please spread the word and help us raise essential funds for our charity, which will enable us to keep supporting young people & adults with mental health and other life challenge across our district.
