It was another triumphant day for Pause United as they secured a well-earned 2-0 victory over Croston Sport. The breakthrough came in the 64th minute when Jack Preston (Across the Bay Podiatry & Footcare) finished clinically, following some dazzling work from Roger Sharrock Danny Thompson), whose creativity was a constant threat. The game was sealed in the 82nd minute when Aaron Helliwell coolly slotted home, assisted perfectly by Preston, who capped off a stellar performance with both a goal and an assist.
Adding to the day’s highlights, young Alfie McNeill made his debut, showing promising flashes of talent.
