We’ve really been making the most of our lovely garden this week! It’s so nice listening to the birds out there, especially when the sun is shining 🥰

We’ve even done some of our activities out there, such as water painting, and have enjoyed many ice pops and ice creams! 🍦

This week has also been filled with some indoor fun: a landmarks quiz, crosswords, prompted chats, sock pairing, and lots of singing & dancing😁

Our library books came yesterday too so we’ll have lots of new things to read! What a great week so far☀️

Today has been absolutely wonderful💗

Everyone interacted so well with eachother when doing chair exercises and games, it was lovely to witness🥰

Some of us have also been back out in the garden due to the warm sunshine☀️

Others of us also chose to read various books/ magazines 📚

The day couldn’t have been better!

We read some really lovely poems which even caused some of us to cry🥺

We also did some crosswords, a TV show quiz, and played with some new sensory items🔩

There was lots of singing and dancing going on in the background too☺️

It was Shirley’s 90th birthday today and she had so many lovely visitors, cards and gifts🎁

Shirley and her daughter also treated the residents and staff to some goodies too, including cake!
How nice of them🥰

She enjoyed a nice walk on the prom, and joined in with games as soon as she got back🌸

We had such an amazing time today playing this new target throwing game! 🎯

So many people joined in, everyone was so good at it and so determined to get the bulls eye ☺️

Well done everyone!

We did lots of cheering for one another and shared plenty of laughs💗

It’s so nice doing group activities like this where residents and staff get chance to interact with eachother in such a fun way🥰
