Whether a friend, family member, client or even yourself, the increase in mental ill-health is devastating. Even without any genetic predisposition to mental illness, situational and environmental factors mean increasing numbers of people are hit by this vicious group of illnesses.

Medication and talking therapies tend to be the "go to" treatments for mental health. They work for some people. Sadly it often takes weeks if not months for any improvements to be seen - and in the mean time the symptoms of mental health, not least depression and anxiety, can make the simplest of every day tasks utterly agonising if not impossible.

The eagle-eyed among you might have noticed we had some technical issues earlier, and they're now fixed! Hurrah!

It was to do with the wonderful world of websites, and I'd just like to big up two of our suppliers - MemberVault and . Both have provided us with over 10 years of excellent service and today was no different.

Today Fasthosts in particular were refreshingly awesome: their tech support involves **speaking by telephone to a live human** straight off, and is available 24/7 year round - so when I thought I was scuppered for the weekend actually all was fixed by a knowledgeable and friendly operator. And yes, I am wearing a winter jumper in July: welcome to summer in Scotland (in fairness, I'm also working with my big window wide open enjoying being as close to outside as I can get while also not getting horrible screen glare ;))
