Mental Health First Aid - 1 Day

This bespoke one day course incorporates the First Aid for Mental Health Action Plan and covers ways in which a positive mental health culture can be supported within a workplace.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
No previous experience or qualification required.
You must be aged 16+ to attend any training course held by Wren Training

COURSE DURATION
A minimum of 6 hours teaching spread over at least one day. Ideally, the course should be run in one day, but must be completed within 3 weeks of starting the course, with each training session a minimum of two hours. .

ASSESSMENT & CERTIFICATIONS
A range of methods are used, including practical and questioning. A certificate in First Aid for Mental Health will be issued to the learner, subject to successful assessment Valid for 3 years.

As well as 1 and 3 day first aid courses I also teach Bespoke Mental Health First aid, CitizenAid, Forestry (+F) and Paediatric first aid.

If you need to do Forestry +F First Aid course but don't see it advertised on our website then please contact us. We can add +F onto any Emergency First Aid course.

In the UK we can ring the emergency services on 999 / 112 / 911 from a mobile phone. (Please note 911 is not advised from landlines) You can be traced via GPS or WIFI.

Did you know in an emergency where you many not be able to speak (eg domestic violence incidents, terrorism, noisy environment etc) you can also send text (sms) messages?
