🌈 Family Yoga Special 🌈

We're so excited to welcome Christina from to the hub and she's offering a free family yoga session at our opening on Sunday 30th November. Her session will be at 1.30pm upstairs in the hub. Places need to be booked due to space, so please go through Christina's website (link in her bio) where you will be able to book your free slot!

🌈 Progress 🌈

Another week, another progress report! Things are beginning to take shape now with our first sessions being held this week!

Painting is so nearly there and toys have started to arrive to bring the playrooms alive! We cannot wait to see the children's faces as they begin their sessions here. We are still holding the majority of sessions in Lancaster, but the transition has started and that's SO exciting, if not slightly terrifying!

Just under 2 weeks to go until we open the doors to show people around so please remember to get in touch if you'd like to join us. 🧡

🌈 Peer Supervision and Social 🌈

What a day we had last Sunday for our final supervision session of the year. This was the third session of the year and our biggest one to date. I'm so proud of the little community we're building and bringing fellow therapists of all kind together! It can often be a lonely job with lots of thoughts and questions which linger and aren't answered, so it's so beneficial to meet together and discuss things that are working and things that need work. We lift each other up!

It was also our first ever event in our new Morecambe hub! We had no idea how it was going to go or whether we had everything we needed, but for a first go, I think we were ok! It felt amazing/slightly terrifying to open the doors to others, but once everyone has arrived, to see the building filled with life felt incredible!

🌈 Progress Report! 🌈

Oohh so much was achieved last week and it feels as though we're so close. It turned into a family affair over the half term with most rooms now painted!

We also held our first event here on Sunday, our peer supervision and social which felt amazing!

Hopefully only one or two more progress reports to go....?! 😅

Just taking a minute to reflect on the last few weeks getting our new therapy home sorted. It's not fully there yet and we won't be starting sessions here just yet, however the change in this place is amazing! It feels like ours!

I've been here everyday this week making sure it's all where it needs to be before we open our doors tomorrow and I'm just amazed at what we're creating. Just over a year ago I had no idea what was going to happen to the hub, we didn't even have a name! And now, we've got this incredible space, Charlotte has joined me and we're creating a space for other therapists to practice, total wellbeing throughout the space and most importantly, a community! A community for the families we work with, but also a community for other therapists and people working to help others.

I can't wait to see what happens over the next few months and years! Thank you for all your support, we wouldn't be where we are without you!

🌈 Family Open Day 🌈

Please join us for our official opening on Sunday 30th November to take a look around the new Rainbow Hub. We are so excited to open our doors to you and to share our vision of what we've created.

There will be something for the whole family including Christmassy crafts, children's relaxation and visualisations sessions and family yoga. Details about timings for these will go out ahead of the event. There will also be a chance to pick up a few little stocking fillers ahead of the madness of Christmas!

🌈 Wicked Wellbeing Workshop 🌈

What an amazing day we had on Monday, celebrating and creating all things Wicked/Halloween inspired! The children all came in quietly, not too sure about what was going to happen throughout the day, and left exchanging numbers as friends had been made!

Magic affirmation wands were made, magical glitter potions and exploding spells were created, mask making and breathing autumnal bracelets, alongside free play, painting and visualisations! Every second was taken up with something and the children were incredible at trying new things, sharing, laughing and having a great time.

We can't wait for the next one!!
