As we wrap up November, let's take a moment to reflect. What is one small thing you did this month to look after your wellbeing?

Maybe it was a daily walk, a few minutes of stretching, or simply taking a deep breath when you felt overwhelmed. Let's celebrate these small wins in the comments!

Wishing you a peaceful and comfortable weekend.

What does 'holistic' really mean? For me, it means seeing you as a whole person, not just a set of symptoms. Your lifestyle, your work, your daily movements—it all contributes to how you feel.

In our sessions, we look at the bigger picture to understand what your body needs. It’s a partnership, where we work together towards your wellbeing goals.

Every treatment plan is built around you.

As November draws to a close, December appointments are starting to fill up. The end of the year can be a busy time for us all.

Booking a session for yourself can be a valuable way to pause, check in with your body, and prepare for the festive period feeling more comfortable and mobile.

If you'd like to secure a space for December, I recommend booking in advance. You can reach me on 07525 448771.

Many people experience tension around their jaw, especially during stressful periods. This can come from clenching or holding tension without even realising it.

A gentle way to bring awareness to this area is to place your fingertips just in front of your ears. Slowly open and close your mouth, noticing the movement of the temporomandibular joint (TMJ). Being mindful of this area can be the first step towards encouraging it to relax.

I am also trained in TMJ work, which can be part of a tailored session.

Have you ever wondered how regular massage can support your day-to-day wellbeing? Gentle, consistent bodywork can encourage relaxation, help you tune into your body, and support greater ease of movement over time.

It’s not just about the session itself—many clients say they notice positive changes in how they carry themselves and approach daily tasks.

If you’re interested in exploring how consistent sessions could benefit you, feel free to get in touch for a chat or visit my website for more information.

Scars are more than just a mark on the skin; they represent a story of healing. Sometimes, the underlying tissue can feel tight or restricted.

Sharon Wheeler's ScarWork is a very light and gentle approach developed to work with scar tissue. It doesn't involve breaking down tissue, but rather works with the existing layers to encourage better integration and movement. I have trained in this specialised method, as well as specific techniques for C-section, hysterectomy, and abdominal scars.

For a confidential chat about how this gentle work could be integrated into a session, please get in touch.

Have you ever heard of Myofascial Release (MFR)? It's one of the many techniques I use in my practice. It's a gentle, hands-on approach that works with the body's fascial system - the connective tissue that surrounds your muscles.

Myofascial Release is integrated into sessions to help clients improve their range of movement and feel more at ease. It’s all about working with your body, not against it.

Interested in learning more about my methods? Give me a call or visit the website.

Feeling a bit tense after a long week at your desk? A simple shoulder roll can make a difference.

Sit or stand tall, inhale and lift your shoulders up towards your ears. Then, exhale and roll them back and down, feeling a sense of release. Repeat this 5-10 times. It's a small moment of self-care you can do anywhere.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Coming for the first time

Some people are very nervous meeting me for the first time, wondering what will happen during their appointment with me.

After contacting and discussing your aches, pains, ‘niggles’ or injury an appointment is made with me. If you are female you may need to wear a sports top and shorts for assessment and males may need shorts for lower body assessments.

Firstly, we sit down and we do some ‘paperwork’. This is for me to gather your general details such as name, address, occupation, GP surgery. We then go on to your presenting complaint.

I ask specific questions such as:-
