🏃‍♂️ Good luck to Seb and Jacob! 🏃‍♂️
makaritis will be running the London Landmarks Half Marathon, alongside his friend Jacob Dee, raising funds for two local Hospice at Home charities – Kate’s Home Nursing and Campden Home Nursing. 💚❤️

Seb is the son of our CEO, Helen Makaritis, and Jacob’s mum, Anita Dee, is a Therapeutic Play Practitioner at Campden Home Nursing, supporting children who have experienced bereavement.

💬 Seb says:
"Jacob and I have been friends since primary school, so it felt right to run the London Landmarks Half Marathon together to support the charities our mums work for and help raise funds for the amazing nurses who care for people at the end of their lives at home."

Did you know? We are not a nursing home with beds at Jecca’s House. We are a local charity providing Hospice at Home care supporting people to stay in their own homes at the end of life, surrounded by the people and things they love.

Jecca’s House is our community base, where we offer bereavement counselling, children’s therapeutic play support, wellbeing activities, and coordinate our nursing care.

Like most hospice charities, we rely on fundraising and donations to continue our vital work. With a small team and nearly 50 amazing volunteers, we work hard to keep costs low while delivering compassionate care.

If you’d like to know more, pop in for a chat, we are always happy to talk especially over tea and cake.
