One of tonight’s care visits has taken a very important turn… it’s match night! ⚽🔴

One of our care assistants is watching the Liverpool game with the lady they support.. There may be a bit of friendly commentary, a few “nearly!” moments, and possibly some shouting at the referee from the comfort of the sofa (I think we all do that!)

Companionship is such a big part of what we do. Sometimes it’s a chat over a cup of tea, and sometimes it’s sharing the tension of a football match and celebrating (hopefully!) a goal together.

Fingers crossed Liverpool give them both something to cheer about tonight! Are you watching?🤞⚽

We are introducing something new but simple at Apollo Care soon!

Our wonderful care team will each have their own referral cards to carry with them when they’re out and about in the community. If they meet someone who may benefit from our home care services, they can simply pass on a card with their name on it and point them in the right direction to get in touch with us.

Our carers are often the eyes and ears of the community, and they regularly come across people who may need a little extra support at home and will speak to one of the team when they are out and about. These cards make it even easier for people to reach out for friendly advice or information about the care we provide.

So if one of our team hands you a card, please don’t hesitate to get in touch — we’re always happy to have a chat about how we can help. 💙

Sunshine, fresh air and a bit of community spirit ☀️

Our Community Liaison Officer Lucy is been out and about in the lovely spring sunshine today, delivering leaflets around Moreton to help spread the word about the domiciliary care services we provide.

Lucy loves getting out into the community, making sure local people know that friendly, reliable support is available if they or their loved ones need a little extra help at home.
