These photos show two customised hair systems we have just finished, each made for very different needs.

One has carefully added grey, blended at a specific percentage so it looks completely natural rather than flat or blocky. The other has a customised front hairline designed to support frontal fibrosing alopecia, also known as FFA, which is a form of scarring hair loss that affects the hairline and temples.

This is where bespoke really matters.

Every system we create can be fully customised. That includes the percentage of grey or multi tonal colour blend, the density, the direction of hair growth, and the shape of the front hairline where sensitivity or recession is present.

This level of customisation can also be done with hair toppers. If someone has a preferred base but struggles to find the right colour, we can have toppers made to match exactly rather than compromising.

If someone wants an exact colour match, we can also work from hair samples. These can be sent off and matched precisely so the finished piece blends seamlessly with their own hair.

Hair loss is never one size fits all, and neither are hair systems. Everything here is made with the individual in mind, whether the goal is softness, realism, coverage, or simply feeling like yourself again.

This week I decided to wear a hair topper every day and just live my normal life in it. No special events, no perfect angles, just real moments.

I have eaten out in it, had my nails done in it and gone about my usual routine. What surprised me most were the compliments from people who had no idea I was wearing anything at all. They just said I looked good and even a little younger. It is amazing how something so small can quietly lift your confidence.

Wearing a topper is not about changing who you are. It is about feeling a little more like yourself again.

When it’s ready, you’ll come into the salon to collect it so we can personalise it for you. That might be trimming it to blend, adding more clips, or even fitting a halo wire — whatever makes it perfect for you.

We’ll also show you how to wash it, care for it, and keep it looking lovely.
