An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our friendly team working across Morpeth and Pegswood as a Trainee Pharmacy Technician. You’ll develop skills in medicines supply, patient care, and pharmacy services, gaining a nationally recognised qualification and a clear career pathway in healthcare.

Day-to-day work is varied: you'll help in dispensing medicines, advising patients and managing stock; supporting pharmacy services such as NHS and private clinics; gain experience in advising on common ailments and over-the-counter medicines sales; and undertake workplace study time and training with our certified training partner.

A huge congratulations and thank you to Debra, Jess, Maryam, Hannah and Lewis from our team who completed the Macmillan Mighty Hike last weekend! 🥾

Hiking an impressive 12 miles, the team has raised over £1900 so far for such a wonderful cause, supporting those with a cancer diagnosis. Everyone has gone above and beyond to fundraise - including running our own green-themed raffle in the pharmacy! 💚💚

🥾 A huge good luck to our wonderful team members taking part in the Northumberland Mighty Hike, raising funds for MacMillan Cancer Support this September.

The team are donning their walking boots to hike across the spectacular Northumberland coast all to raise money for a fantastic cause. 💙💚

With fundraising raffles and other events planned, they’re all going the extra mile and have so far raised over £1,000!

Greg, one of our fantastic delivery drivers, had his last shift with us yesterday, and is getting ready to enjoy a well-deserved retirement.

Always wearing a friendly smile, Greg has been with us for nearly 8 years and in that time has made a fantastic difference for our patients, even winning 'Delivery Driver of the Year' award from the local pharmaceutical committee, for his caring nature and helping to safeguard some of our older patients.

We hope you have a wonderful, restful retirement Greg, and do keep us informed of your adventures! Thank you so much again for your dedication, hard work and care! 🚚

💊 Come and visit our Pharmacy First - we can provide a range of treatments from our expert pharmacists, without an appointment. The service is free - you will only need to pay a prescription fee if you receive any treatment, and usually pay for your NHS prescriptions.

We treat these key conditions: Sinusitis, Sore throat, Earache, Infected insect bites, Impetigo, Shingles and UTIs in Women. You may be able to access some prescription medicine, if needed.

You can access the service in a number of ways. You can simply walk-in to our pharmacy and we'll always aim to see you within 15 minutes. You can always give us a call, and we will be able to triage you and advise if we can provide treatment, or refer you elsewhere. You may also be referred to us by your GP Surgery, or NHS 111.
