Possibly the most sensory instrument ever? Come along and try the harp at the Sensory Discovery Day at QME Care with Communities Connected tomorrow 24th October 1:30-3pm. Anyone can make a lovely sound on the harp straight away, come and find out and feel the heartwarming good vibrations 🎵🎶🎵

Sharing the harps with residents at Castleview Care Home had a bit of everything. Relaxing playing for distraction and to soothe fear, pain and anxiety. Interactive playing for coordination and concentration. And singing carols, familiar tunes from the past to access old memories. Looking forward to more at QME Care on Monday. 🎶🎵🎶

Great to be out making music with the Blooming Well group at Alnwick Garden we improvised on the harps and named our piece of music Blooming Restful Tranquility. It was lovely, such a relaxing sound from a group that had only been playing harp for an hour!
