⚠️ Secondary non-response to Botox is preventable!
One of the most critical factors in preventing antibody formation and treatment resistance is following the 12-week minimum interval between injections.

🔬 Key Facts:
•⁠ ⁠Neutralizing antibodies (NAbs) can develop when treatments are too frequent
•⁠ ⁠Shorter dosing intervals, especially “booster” injections within 1-2 weeks, significantly increase immunogenicity risk
•⁠ ⁠The 12-week rule has been integrated into package inserts specifically to reduce NAb formation risk
•⁠ ⁠Once antibodies develop, patients may experience secondary non-response—losing treatment effectiveness even after years of successful results

🎯 Risk Factors for Antibody Development:
✗ Treatment intervals shorter than 12 weeks
✗ Higher cumulative doses over time
✗ “Top-up” or booster injections too soon after initial treatment
✗ Excessive dose per session
