It’s more than a lyric — it’s a way of life.
Because laughter that’s sustained, brave-hearted (from the belly), and joy-fuelled isn’t just fun — it’s transformational.
I choose to laugh.
Not because everything is perfect — but because laughter lifts.
It softens the edges, lightens the load, and reminds me that joy is still here.
💜 Whether it’s a brave-hearty belly laugh or a sustained laughter exercise,
💜 Whether shared with others or practiced on its own,
Initiated laughter is a radical act of self-care.
Let your laughter be loud.

Laughter isn’t just for the punchlines. It can be part of your morning routine — as natural as brushing your teeth.
✨ Laugh in the shower.
✨ Pull funny faces in the mirror while fixing your hair.
✨ Silently chuckle as you get dressed.
✨ Add a few laughter exercises into your current exercise routine.
It’s all about making joy a habit.
And when you laugh with others — whether through a Laughter Yoga class or spontaneous ‘brave-hearty’ belly laughter — you’re strengthening your connection to life and those around you.
Laughter is a courageous act of presence.

Today, we celebrate International Day of Yoga 2025 with the beautiful theme: Yoga for One Earth, One Health.

As Mrs MacLaughter, I’m honoured to be bringing Laughter Yoga to this joyful global celebration tomorrow 🧘‍♀️😂

Laughter is breath.
Laughter is connection.
Laughter is healing.

Let’s raise our energy, our smiles, and our voices in joy together.

She wasn’t sure she could come.
Her anxiety was through the roof. She messaged to say she didn’t think she could manage the group setting.
I reminded her: that laughing with others is a lovely safe place and that she didn’t need to feel at her best to attend. Just to feel brave enough to take that first step. I also let her know that it would be great to see her the next day, but if she truly was not able we could organise some 1-to-1 work.
I reminded her that even going through the motions of laughter can support emotional release and nervous system reset.
She came. Quiet. Hesitant. Brave.
One laugh, then another.
By the end, she had the most infectious laugh in the group.
Afterwards, she said she was going to add laughter to her morning affirmations.
This is why I do what I do.
💛 Motion shifts emotion. Laughter doesn’t need comedy — it needs space, kindness, and breath.

Laughter is a practice — not a personality trait.
You don’t need to be outgoing or naturally upbeat to benefit from it.
In Laughter Yoga, we work with breath, sound, and gentle motion — because motion shifts emotion.
You can show up anxious, low-energy, or uncertain — and still experience the physical and emotional reset that laughter brings.
That’s what I love about it. It meets you where you are.
I created to help more people access that shift — without needing comedy or confidence, just curiosity and kindness.
