So excited for my amazing member Lesley as she opens her own brand new Slimming World group TONIGHT at 7pm at the Brass Band Hall in Shotts!🙌🎉

Lesley's lost over 4 stones as a member of our Coltness group and she's now going on to help even more people achieve their weight loss goals! Can't wait to be there on opening night tonight to see you absolutely smash it!💪

I’ve got to say, it feels a wee bit like Christmas Eve to me with all the excitement and anticipation of meeting all of my lovely new members 🎄💖

It’s going to be a full day for me—starting with an interview on Shotts Radio (yes… me, seriously 😂😂), then it’s off to the shops to pick up our first yummy raffle prize… maybe you’ll be the lucky winner 🤔🎁

After that, I’ll be heading to the Brass Band Hall early with all my phenomenal helpers to make sure everything is absolutely perfect to welcome you all.

Tomorrow our adventure begins, and I honestly can’t wait 😘✨

🍔 FAKEAWAY FEELS 🍔

Who says you can’t have burger night when you're Food Optimising?! 😍 Tonight’s dinner was loaded chicken burgers in a brilliant new Healthy Extra Choice bake-at-home wholemeal roll with chunky chips and a big, colourful side salad🥗

The burgers are just chicken breasts with one of my favourite JD Seasonings - Rubs & Meal kits, topped with reduced-fat cheese from my Healthy Extra choice and piled high with bacon medallions and avocado🥑

This is exactly what Slimming World is all about for me – real food, proper portions and never feeling like I’m missing out. If anything, I’m eating better than ever! 🤤

⭐ WEIGH DAY WINS ⭐

Oh ya wee beauty!! 7 days of planning, commitment and determination (and shaving my beard in the hope that it got me an extra sneaky half lb off!🤣)

Stuart had an amazing week and lost 5lbs to pick up his half stone award but as usual, my competitive spirit took over and I had to do one better - I needed 6.5lbs off this week to get my 1 stone award and I only went and done it!🎉

Challenge 100 is firmly on, Food Optimising 100% every single day and just look at the results! Here's to the next 2 weeks!💪 Had to get the cat in on the selfie action too but it's safe to say she wasn't best pleased!😹

🍜 OODLES OF NOODLES 🍜

It's group night for me tonight so I need something super easy to come home to that doesn't take a lot of cooking time... Stuart decided to throw out the microwave last week so until it's replaced, it's the slow cooker to the rescue!!👌

I've been meal planning with some old favourite recipe books so tonight we had these Bang Bang Chicken Noodles which were done almost entirely in the slow cooker while I've been out - all that was needed was a little chopping this morning🥕

Packed full of speedy veggies and making use of our Healthy Extra Choices with some coconut drink & peanut butter for an extra boost of flavour, this one is firmly back in the regular dinner rotation!🤤😍

⭐ SPICE UP YOUR LIFE ⭐

It's curry night at ours tonight, and what better to have than our favourite ever Butter Chicken Masala recreated from the Mowgli recipe book🤤 Still as buttery and delicious as ever, only now for just 3.5 Swips of Flora Lighter instead👌

We served ours with basmati rice, the best ever treacle & tamarind fries, a homemade raita and spiced onions, and the delicious new Garlic & Coriander naans from the Slimming World range at Iceland Foods and Food Warehouse😍

Who says you have to sacrifice your favourites to lose weight!? A few simple swaps and we've had an entire fakeaway feast for just 4.5 Swips each!😯

* Note to self - not so heavy-handed with the Chilli Powder next time!🥵🤣

❤️🌮 YOU HAD ME AT TACO 🌮❤️

It's been another rotten few weeks for me healthwise, but I'm finally starting to feel almost back to normal and I'm loving getting back to group and to Food Optimising 100% too!

A few of my fab Tuesday members were sharing about these brilliant taco moulds that are just perfect for Slimming World wraps - spritz with frylight, push the wraps in to the mould and pop in the oven for a few minutes to crisp up and you've got the perfect taco bowl just waiting to be filled with whatever you fancy!😍

We went for salad, spicy rice, JD Seasonings - Rubs & Meal kits fajita chicken with peppers & onions, avocado as a Healthy Fats choice, and a homemade zesty lime yoghurt! It was incredible - and even better served with my favourite lime & parmesan corn on the cobs too!🤤

✨ ONE YEAR ENGAGED✨

Celebrating one full year engaged with a few days in the sunshine, and we've finally managed to pull on our glad rags to head out for a meal after 4 days of doing absolutely nothing but soak up some sun - it's been bliss!☀️

I had lost almost a stone in two weeks before coming away and it's done absolute wonders for my self esteem - can't wait to get back to group next week and continue on with my journey to Target so I feel even more amazing on our next holiday!💪🎯

⭐ WEEK ONE RESULTS ⭐

Over the moon to pick up my half stone award this morning, one full week of Food Optimising and 7lbs gone in just 7 days I am so chuffed!

Went back to doing what I know works best for me, got some brilliant inspiration from group last week and it's paid off in spades, here's to the next award!😉💪

⭐ SPEED FREE SENSATIONS ⭐

After my grand return to group as a member yesterday, I really wanted to get straight back on track with filling up on at least 1/3 plate of Speed Free Food with every single meal - that super low calorie food that is so good at boosting weight loss!💪

So I used the brand new Caramelised Onion Sausages that I picked up from Iceland, made a quick mash and all my favourite speedy veg - roast carrots, red cabbage and broccoli - and then proceeded to drown the whole lot in a homemade leek & red onion gravy... even more Speed Free Food!🥕🥦🧅

Sat down to catch up on a bit of admin tonight before our first groups of 2026 this week, and had a little helper intent on getting involved too - it's Chica's world and I'm just living in it!🤣

I know I'll not be alone with 2025 not going the way I'd hoped with my weight loss but that doesn't mean 2026 has to be the same... so I was up bright and early this morning to join a group as a brand new member and then straight to Iceland for a stock-up!🏃‍♂️

⭐ FEEL REAL GOOD IN 2026 ⭐

We are achieving amazing things every single week at our Coltness and New Stevenston Slimming World groups and with all the exciting updates to our eating plan, our activity support programme and our glowed-up group format, 2026 is shaping up to be the best one yet!✌️

In 2025 we saw 7045lbs lost (that's over 500st/3000kgs!🤯), over 60 members achieve their dream Target weight🎯 and over 70 members achieve their Club10 award - losing 10% of their start weight and celebrating the fantastic health benefits it brings!🤍
