It was a quiter night at the café on Thursday but we managed to sort the world out and then some 😂 these evenings aren't always about "death" they're also a safe space to offload and heal..... Well the next one will be in the New year with new and positive plans to charge ahead... Forever grateful for the ongoing support from both physical and spirit friends and family ❤️

The path is never as straightforward as you think.....when the powers that be offer you a different way... A different mission I suppose and you don't even question it..its never a wrong turn its a soul direction taking you where you need to be in that moment.
I vowed for a long time I would never return to any sort of care work...EVER! Today I found myself in an office having an interview for that job! Why? Because I'm needed... The soul direction moment has arrived for me to take my life experience... My Holistic experience... My care experience back to an environment that sorely needs the attention....my journey now takes me beyond the dim lit, nice smelling calm treatment room to a place where I can extend my experience and values on a completely different level...we can't stay hidden in our little spiritual sanctuaries we need to extend and let the world know we exist beyond preconceptions....we are warriors and warriors should always be seen.. And heard.....i was successful in my interview today and went there as Annie Hamilton...❤️ Part Rebel... Part Angel.... All soul ❤️

It's funny how the road twists and turns... I started off at 19yrs old working within the Geriatric/Dementia care sector and this was a continuous path for about 12/13 years... End of life was ever present but not in the context that I've come to know it ....the journey has went full circle I suppose. Embarking and embracing my spiritual self and journey for 20yrs now(gawd i feel old 😜) and all of this in preparation for where I find myself now. My life experience and and definitely the greatest teacher of Soul Midwifery my Father led me to finally take up the training through the Angel Reiki Association with a fantastic teacher and mentor.... Not only am I a practitioner I also hold the honour to teach this Modality ❤️ so off I go to embrace my nursing experience once again to take up the challenge of promoting Soul Midwifery within the care environment...... And breathe.... ❤️

We are non denominational multifaith practitioners.
We offer care through therapies from gentle touch to a good ear to listen.
Our work is compassion and comfort for those whom find themselves on the end of life journey. Our hope is to promote peace to not just our friend on the final part of their journey but also their families and friends.

The journey of change is often fraught with worry.....my role has been so consistent on my spiritual journey but now my Angelic team and spirit friends are calling for me to return to an area of my life that has been dormant I suppose for many years... As part of my Soul Midwifery journey I now find myself returning to the nursing/care aspect...A place I felt had already served whatever purpose I had to I suppose.. But no... Unfinished business and need to promote this Beautiful Modality within that system call for me...on the job experience/spreading the soul Midwifery vibe and hopefully making this an active and accessible Modality within all systems of care....The Passing Place Cafe is set to open late August.... I'm nervously excited but feeling the ever loving pull from beyond... Which makes it the perfect time for this ❤️

In the background... Theres always something going on the background.... I've been busy facilitating training for Soul Midwifery... Its raw and absolutely beautiful in the same breath ❤️ by tomorrow evening there will be 10 soul Midwives.... Ready to bring this journey out into the communities .....❤️
