For many years now I've talked about 'hibernating' after the festive period. I'm very blessed to have been extremely busy in the run up to Christmas and New Year with lots of fun, social events with close friends and family. I truly love that time of the year and cherish it every time however after the festivities are done and dusted I'm more than happy to knuckle down, rest up and reclaim the energy and effort that has been well and truly spent since the end of November. For many years people have almost mocked this idea of hibernation however I've always felt in deep within my soul but never really had the words to describe it until now.
Donna Ashworth's words always seem to talk directly to me at the exact time that I (or someone I know) needs to hear them. She writes so eloquently and personally and I urge each and every one of you to go and like her page and follow her daily inputs. I will be sharing some of her snippets of here and using her words as inspiration within my healing sessions and groups too.
My word for January is now going to 'regeneration'. ❤️
Hopefully you find some solace and inspiration as I have done too.

REGENERATING
I don’t think you’re simply tired,
I think you’re regenerating.
Like all of mother nature’s children in winter, your instinct is to curl up, hunker down and reset.
You’re not less.
You’re simply in tune with the sun.
And as the dark days begin to wane, your inner wild fortifies and evolves, bolstered and renewed, cocoon-style.
Ready for the new beginnings, ready for the reinvent.
Ready.
Simply ready.
So, let yourself be led down the rabbit hole, when the weariness washes over and your body begs to rest.
I don’t think you’re simply tired.
I think you’re regenerating.
