Love football? had to give up through injury, health? Over 50s. Mon eves ko 7.15. Tue & Fri 10-11.15am. Meet 20 mns before ko. Not just football, social events too!

This is a minimal contact sport for over 50s for those unable to play running football due to fitness levels. If you're still fit enough for normal soccer then, well done but, this probably isnt for you. Please arrive 20 mins earlier than KO for: Rules & regs, pay subs, allocate teams, WARM-UP to reduce injuries! and ensure we have a full hour. TESTIMONIAL: I'm 64 and was quite fit until I shattered my ankle some years ago, now its fused with metal, I'm also overweight but can now play again! I love the fun and comrarderie. Been playing 6 years.

Anyone fancy tonight (and / or Sunday am) helping out a new club at Kingsthorpe jets?

From their chairman:
“We don’t have any players with experience and our numbers for the first session this evening are very low. But we do need to start somewhere and we’ll be looking to build over the next few weeks/months. Any support you could offer us with sending some experienced players would be amazing. We are offering our first 2 sessions free of charge. Tonight, and every Wednesday, at Kingsthorpe Rec 6:30pm to 7:30pm and Sunday’s 11:00am to midday on the 3G pitch at Thomas Becket School”

“we would like to be in a position to have team in the league when numbers and interest is sufficient to do this. A cup competition in June would be good”.

This week exactly 7 (I think) years ago with 9 great guys including 4 who went onto run NTFC and 4 who stayed to help form Moulton Masters thst September (and Andy now in Scotland!)
Les Goodridge, Dave H, Paul Ashby, Andy Clark (now Scotland), Simon Barfoot, Mick Dunn, Martin Littlemore, Phil Andrews, Matt K***s. Low on numbers due to illness, weatger. Now we’re getting 40-50 on Mondays!!

Our first entry into the County Cup was 2020. We fielded 6 of the 10 teams from Northants !! Phil was honoured with an FA volunteer award. We reached the final losing by off goal to NTFC. We’ve not done too badly since!

Delighted to be first winners of the fair play trophy in the county league! Well done Moulton Masters 50s Blacks. They narrowly lost their league title by just one point to Kettering Town.
