The Surgery will be closed on the afternoon of Thursday 15th January 2026 from 1pm for clinical staff training which has been provided by Cwm Taf Morgannwg Heath Board across Rhondda Cynon Taf and Merthyr.
From 1.00pm on the 15th January our telephone system will move to an automated message providing contact details for a covering GP team. This team will only be able to deal with urgent medical problems that cannot wait until the following day. They will not be able to deal with general enquiries.
Please remember that you should ring 999 for medical emergencies or 111 for NHS health advice.
The Surgery will be open as normal from 8:00am the following day, Friday 16th January 2026.

Hi everyone. There are high levels of influenza circulating in our area and there are much higher than average patients with flu hospitalised in Prince Charles and Royal Glamorgan hospitals 🤢

Bore da! No we haven’t completely lost the plot at the surgery - there’s a reason that our tree is up early. Our health visitors have set up a gift tree to help children within our community who may be less fortunate this year. Please support if you can- just take a gift tag and return the gift wrapped with the tag attached. Diolch yn fawr 😁💕
