Been a while since I shared anything I've made, it's been an eventful year and a bit getting married, becoming a dad, and moving house, so I have a sizable backlog of stuff I've made. I'll see if I can catch up over the next week or so.
Anyway, I had an idea when perusing Pinterest looking at tools to make. I saw an adze where the blade slots through the handle and is secured with a wooden wedge, an errand thought that it would be more easily secured if it had a thread, and that's when I realized I could quickly and easily make a hammer that way.
Behold, my small adjustable weight junk hammer. It's a short M16 (I think) nut and bolt in a bit of scrap pine from a pallet. If I wanted I can add nuts or washers to up the weight for some extra whack.
I have no idea what I intend to use it for, or if it will be any good for anything but I'll only find out when I make some use of it.
