I created these retreat stays because there was nothing out there for women feeling broken, exhausted, depressed — often they didn’t want to be here.

All there seemed to be were psychiatric wards, overpriced private hospitals with limited therapy, or pills.
No. Please stop.

This is an invitation for a part of you to die, and for a part of you to come alive.
A part that feels unseen and helpless and needs love and healing.
Unhealed, fragmented parts of your soul and inner child.
Your creative spark denied, your magic suppressed.
I know it can feel terrifying - I’ve been there but hear me now.

You are not broken.
You are wholly-

We need to move beyond the analytical mind to heal soul, the beliefs, the body.

Because it is in the roots that the magic lies—the place of alchemy, where descent births true transformation.

When we experience trauma, we often leave our bodies, dissociate, and float toward spirit. But this human life is an earthly experience. When we rush into spiritual practices without tending to our roots, it can become another form of disassociation.

The deep work asks us to descend.
To sit with what we’ve avoided.
To be held, witnessed, and guided through the underworld of the soul—so that we may rise, embodied and whole.

A very beautiful soul who came to stay a few months back.

“I knew what I needed. I needed somewhere to stay to heal. I had looked everywhere and it just didn’t seem to exist. Or if it did, it was an absolute fortune. My ex-partner had seen an interview with Donna and felt she was the right person for me. We had a 90-minute Zoom call and I was absolutely terrified, but instantly I knew Donna just saw me. She just kept saying, it’s okay, sweetheart. I’ve got you. And I could feel that she really did. I tangibly felt that I was safe. I could feel that she did have me. And we arranged a six-day stay at the most incredible house .

And the way that Donna has put her love and her personality, her spirit into every inch of that house. It was the most beautiful place I have ever been to. Every challenge, every trigger, every heartbreak is a mirror — not to punish us, but to awaken us to the parts of ourselves that are still longing to be loved.

Brrrr can you feel it.
Autumn is nearly upon us. This season invites us to turn inward, to shed what no longer serves, and to trust the beauty of letting go.

🌳 Meditation Practice 🌳
Close your eyes and take a slow, grounding breath.
Imagine standing beneath a great tree, its branches stretching wide. See the golden leaves drifting gently to the earth.

With each exhale, allow yourself to release one thing that feels heavy — an old story, a fear, a layer of self-doubt.
With each leaf falling, feel yourself becoming lighter, clearer, freer.

Stay with this image. Feel the ground receive what you let go, transforming it back into nourishment for new growth.

✨ Ask yourself: What am I ready to release this season?

When you’re ready, open your eyes and return to your day with a renewed sense of clarity and space for what is to come.

I came home to begin again.

I left behind my beloved friends in my beloved New Forest.
I left a toxic marriage.
I left everything I thought I was.

It wasn’t easy. Door after door closed as I searched for a home. There were moments I thought I had made the wrong decision.

And then, in meditation, the lightning bolt came.
A vision.
A reminder of a circle I had sat in eight years earlier with wise women — women who had seen me, held me, walked beside me.

I saw a healing centre from outer space, lit through the Aurora Borealis.
“You must do “ one said-
“I will - promise” I said .

It was time- to create a space to be held and Heal
The very next day, I found this place.

I wrote a letter from my heart, explaining that I was here to fulfil my purpose. To create a sanctuary for people to come home to themselves, to heal at the deepest level.

And so I began.

I poured my own healing journey, my heart, my soul into this place.
This land carried me home to myself.
This is where the alchemy happens.
This is where I teach you how to rise from the ashes.

They say you create what you once needed. And it’s true.
I never set out to build a retreat centre in the Highlands — but life burned everything I thought I was to the ground.
And from those ashes, I rebuilt myself
🌌 Aurora Borealis Highland Retreat is not just a place.
It is a sacred temple.
A sanctuary.
My home, now your healing space.

We are told love is something to earn, to chase, to cling to —
a gift that can be given or stolen.

But love is not a possession.
It is not a bargain.
It is the current that moves through shadow and light, the pulse beneath the ache, the flame inside the void.

🌑 When we descend into the underworld of ourselves,
we meet the forgotten parts —
the abandoned child, the silenced voice, the wounds that still whisper.

And when we hold them close,
when we whisper, “I see you, I’ve got you,”
love pours through the cracks like gold.

Love is not found in another.
It is not lost in heartbreak.
It is the eternal ground we return to
when the illusion of separation falls away.
