MELD New MELD provides locally accessible, confidential and non-judgemental services to promote recovery

MELD operates a one to one counselling skills based recovery service offering support, information and advice to anyone with a substance misuse issue. We provide clean injecting equipment, the safe disposal of used needles and information and advice on safer injecting. We provide Family Support for adults affected by a loved one's Substance Misuse (Drugs and Alcohol). Our Peer Support Service offers one-to-one support in the community from a Peer Support Worker with a lived experience of substance misuse problems.

- Recovery Workers (Full or Part-Time)
- East Lothian GP Peer Support Worker (Full-Time)
- Starfish Cafe Worker (Part-Time)

East Lothian Recovery Hub Peer Support Worker (35 hours Per Week)

The Post Holder will provide and promote peer support and recovery services to people recovering from their problematic use of alcohol and drugs. This will be achieved by supporting people in the different phases of their recovery from initial engagement with services and the recovery community through to options for education, training, volunteering and employment.
