How do I trim cannabis the right way? What is cannabis bud trimming?

Cannabis bud trimming is the process of removing excess leaf material, sugar leaves, and fan leaves from the buds, leaving only the most potent and valuable parts of the flower.

This is done by hand, with hobbyists often using scissors to carefully snip away the unwanted material. Removing this excess plant matter can lead to superior smoking and va**ng experiences, and may also give your cannabis buds a better aesthetic.

Good trimming should leave the buds with a healthy, manicured look while still conserving most of the trichomes. So make sure you use sharp scissors or shears.

This is not a particulary strong skunk strain, but it was irrestistible to me. Especially the pineapple pheno, so sweet. Most Sativa strains takes so long to finish the flowering, that most growers avoid them, simply because that extra month or two, can be an entire harvest or 3, you miss in a year. The pure Sativas are not seen as often as before. Hybrid strains are 60–70% of the market. Pure Sativas or Sativa dom. plants are my favorites.

Cinderella 99 is special because its high is completely like a Sative dom. strain, but finish non the less in 55–60 days. In the Cannabis world this is a very desirable trait, and its genes live on as breeders have kept Brothers Grimms real deal from the 90s up to these days.

These days I dont smoke much w**d anymore, but when I do, I´m a happy camper if its Cindy or AK 47 from Serious seeds. Trippy up Sativa smoke. Lots of giggles. That’s what i really like when smoking w**d.

I tried most of what there was of strains, before I stumbled over Cindy. Jack Herer is no slouch either in the giggle department

What is the best ma*****na strain out right now

The "best" of anything is a personal answer. What's the best wine? What's the best beer? What's the best paint color for my kitchen? What's the best movie? Luckily, we have many more choices with ma*****na and can get exactly what we want. It's not like in the '70s when people just wanted a "bag of grass". Now you can filter through a wide range of options to get the best strain for you.

To get to the best strain there are a few key variables to factor into the decision:

- Are you treating a medical issue, or is it just for enjoyment?
- Do you want to be stimulated and have energy from a sativa strain, or do you want to relax and chill out from an indica strain or hybrid?
- Do you want a strong effect from a higher potency strain around 30% or do you want a more mild effect from a lower potency strain around 15%?
- How will you be getting it into your system? Will you be va**ng or ingesting via edible?
- Do you want it in concentrated form like a dab or wax or just beautiful green flower?
- What are the parents of the strain? (Girl Scout Cookies shares a family tree with my personal favorite, Durban Poison)
- How was it grown? There's a growing interest in "organic" farming and which chemicals were used.

The most popular strains may not be the best—they're just popular. Is Fat Tire the best beer? No, it's just really popular (I think Pliny the Elder is the best, but that's just me).

The strongest strain (highest in THC) can't even really be narrowed down to one strain. Currently, Gorilla Glue is considered one of, if not THE most potent strains on earth coming in around 33% THC. But testing is not 100% accurate. Does that make it the best?

There are so many strains to choose from and so many ways to get them into your system that it's hard to even pick a top 10.

Read the question again. I said in 35 states! Putting that aside, a bill to get cannabis off the schedule list has passed the house. There's just as good, or better chance, cannabis will be legal on a federal level, although regulated, and taxed. You attempted to get the focus of state rights, and attempted to pivot to federally. FAIL.

66% of American's are now in favor of complete legalization, and 75% SEVENTY-FIVE PERCENT of the highest population regions!, and it's bipartisan. Yes, some of the older politicians, who are invested in industries that would be hurt by legalization, are using all their powers to keep the plant illegal. 66-75% of their constituents is more than enough to get this rediculous prohibition tossed. Banks are now allowed to do business with the cannabis industry. The stock market trades cannabis stocks… The federal government has stayed out of the cannabis industries way, with a few exceptions because the cannabis companies weren't paying their taxes.

Nobody has ever died from a cannabis overdose, there are countless uses for every part of the plant. Studies have shown cannabis kills cancer cells while protecting healthy cells (unlike chemotherapy). Big pharma, to***co, oil companies, private for profit prisons, and many many more industries will take a hit, but legalization is the right thing to do, and like it, or not, legalization will be here much sooner than later. Even police officers in several states can use cannabis off duty.

Wake up my brother, you seem to have been left behind, or you've chosen not to look. Finally, ANY “drug” that takes the bad effects of PMS, and can turn a hormonal raging lunatic of a female, and have them giving you a message, and cooking your favorite foods, shouldn't just be legal, it's should me mandatory

What are the most bizarre cannabis strains you've come across, and what are their effects?

Every top forms nearly a perfect star. They are NOT foxtails, but an incredibly desirable mutation. The plant turns yellow, purple, and blue during flower, and is an incredibly potant sativa. I don't think there's a dollar amount I'd except for the cultivar “strain”, until I decide to let the public see, and try it. After that, I don't think I'd ask an absurd amount of $ for a clone. Wait, unlike most who have their fish stories, I do have pictures I will share. Thoes 1st 3 pictures are that cultivar.

The 4th pic is a cultivar I bred to have very few fan leaves, making it a growers dream. Rather than have to spend 4–5 days, 18 hour days trimming, it's trimmed in practically no time.

The last pic is one of my colorful cultivars (the 2nd to last is another angel on this Star cultivar, or as the op put it, “strain”

Who smokes w**d, and why?
I do. Every day. And I am not ashamed.

Why ? It started out to be the cool kid.

But it is not like smoking ci******es : once you understand w**d does not make you cool, you can stop.

I did not.

I smoke it because after a full day when my brain can not stop boiling I need something that would help me make it stop.

Alcohol works as well, but I would need way more and feel very bad the day after.

W**d is soft, you cannot have an over-dose and you do not feel weird when you wake up.

Although, I only smoke it at the end of the day. When every obligation I have is complete, w**d marks the end of my day and a calm switch off of my brain.

After all, it is w**d or medications if I want to have a proper sleep. When I am on hollidays I do not smoke because I will not go seek for it in countries I don’t know.

I do not miss it. But my sleep gets as bad as it was before. I have nightmares, wake up ten times a night and get up not feeling rested. At all.

Some could say that addiction is causing the sleep problem. In my case it is not. I’ve had this problems since I was born.

Even a few days old I would wake up ten times a night. During my whole childhood. During my teenage years. Until w**d.

Some may say I could take medications instead. Prove me that they are healthier than w**d and I may try.

W**d is my medication. It is not even fun anymore (I don’t spend my time giggling, I act quite normal).

For me, it is a daily cure. It provides me the nights of sleep I need.

Does anything other than ma*****na contain THC?

Here’s an interesting finding by the Scientific American:

A species of liverwort called Radula produces a similar cannabinoid to THC from Cannabis sativa, called perrottetinene (PET).
Investigations have found that PET is similar to THC in structure and activity in mammalian brains but has less potent psychoactive effects.
Studies also suggest PET reduces certain molecules associated with inflammation compared to THC.
Ethnobotanical evidence hints that the Maori people of New Zealand use it as an herbal medicine although its purpose remains unclear.
Synthetic methods for making perrottetinene have been established, allowing further studies into its activity on inflammatory diseases such as multiple sclerosis.

I need Al Sharpton! There is prejudice against HID's! I posted one of my S***G harvests on Redsh*t. 600 watt 2+ lb plant, and it wasn't posted at the site. When I shared it with other cannabis communities on Redsh*t, it's nowhere to be found. Meanwhile, they'll post buds the size of my thumbnail all day long. Why would I pay $1700 a light, that's pulling more electric from the wall, when I've had these hoods for well over a decade?
